The Mafia’s heir’s bride

The Mafia’s heir’s bride

"That book carries the curse of power. The Moranos used it once to conquer our ancestors. We will not let history repeat itself. The book must be destroyed." Elowen laughed softly, her tone sharp as a blade. All eyes turned to her as she reached into her cloak and pulled out the black book. "Name your price," she said. The Atlan master frowned. "What game are you playing?" "Jewelry, gold, boxes of money," Elowen said carelessly. "Too small," she added, tilting her head. "I need more." The master glared at her. "Fine." He snapped his fingers, and his men brought forward boxes of gold and silver.

The Mage's Heart

The Mage's Heart

“Before mankind, when the Fae ruled all corners of this world, the Elves were the next greatest in numbers. When mankind came, during the many wars that were fought as they spread and pushed us back, the Elves divided into two camps. Those that believe that mankind are like children, and need a gentle, guiding hand, to recognise their wrongs and to learn and grow from them, and those that see mankind as a plague, that needs to be eradicated to the last child. “They began to call themselves the Light and the Dark. The last great wars were devastating on the numbers of the Dark Elves, and they withdrew into this mountain range. We believe they wait until they are again many and then will resum

A brilliant adult fairy tale! Dark romance, fairies, sirens, mages, dragons, dark elves, mermaids, trolls, imps, spells, and quests. I loved it, an action packed adventure from beginning to end. Folk lore and fae stories truly came alive, I fell in love with the characters and got lost in the story.

Rising Storm in the Elven Realms

Rising Storm in the Elven Realms

Moidrin brought soft slippers for Niamh's feet and a blanket for her lap. Maeval returned a short time later with several books. Niamh looked at them questioningly. "These are records of the Elven kings from the time of the creation of this kingdom, all the way until King Lorcan took the throne." "Oh, well that will interest me," Niamh said and thanked Maeval as she began to read. Niamh had been educated alongside Eithne so knew the history of the kings, however, she was looking for more than just a list.

The Elf King & I [Book #1]

The Elf King & I [Book #1]

***ABOUT THE BOOK*** The Elf King & I is a romance/humor/fantasy fiction set in the fictional world called Aldous (+ a few more) and the real world, USA. The relationships of the characters are: - BxB for main couples. - BxG for others. This story is bound to have some silly events to depict comedy scenes for a good-time laugh. Nevertheless, though the story may start light-themed at first, it is recommended to brace yourself for a heavy plot in the future.

The Kingdom of Light

The Kingdom of Light

In addition, she had filled the basket with plenty of tasty drinks that tasted like fruit juice. It was everything one could possibly want if they were going to lie on a blanket in the beautiful summer sun and read a book about elven history. I lay down on my stomach, placing the book in front of me. It was large and heavy. Just for fun, I flipped to the back—there were no fewer than four hundred and forty-nine pages in the book. And that was only volume one! I wondered how many volumes there were in total. I opened the big book and could smell the traces of time in it. All I hoped for was that it wouldn’t be too dry to read.

Elf To Tame A Werewolf

Elf To Tame A Werewolf

Cold seeps through my fingers, as I take a step back. What the fuck?! 'Hello, you pretty thing,' the teeth says, 'Scared are we?' At the mention of the word, I bristle, baring my fangs in reply. I'm many things, but I like to be in control as much as possible. 'Who. Are. You'. 'I think we both know the answer to that question, Keilen,' it says. The annis. I still can't believe it, the creature from the stories, the dark witches of the elven race, darker than even the mages. Their guild was one of the major factors of the fall of Citadell….or so Argell said.

The Carpathian Prophecy Of Alpha's Love

The Carpathian Prophecy Of Alpha's Love

The revelation came a long time ago, and all packs have been waiting patiently for the right time. Lyra's bookstore stood as a neglected monument at the outskirts of Serrowell—crooked stone tower, vines entwining its timbers, a wind-chime of bones whistling warnings over the distorted door frame. Inside, dust sparkled in slivers of light, and the air vibrated with latent magic. Elara trailed her hand over a shelf, the wood dulled with rot. All of the books here carried weight—not in years, but in significance. Lyra placed a leather-bound volume on the table. The cover was cracked and older, the emblem burned into the center glimmering dimly.

Blood Moon Rising - The Lumenwild Trials

Blood Moon Rising - The Lumenwild Trials

The ground split open in a ring of silver roots, and at its center floated the Heart with a sphere of light suspended in air, breathing in rhythm with mine. It was beautiful. Terrifying. Alive. But the Riftborn were already there. Dozens of them, crawling from the cracks in the earth, their bodies twisting in and out of shape. The air smelled like ash and metal. Cael raised his blade. “Auren, flank left!” Auren vanished into the mist, his laughter cutting through the chaos. Cael turned to me once more. “Elara ”.. “I know,” I said. “Stay behind you.” But I didn’t.

THE MANOR OF WINTER SECRETS

THE MANOR OF WINTER SECRETS

The grand library glowed with the soft amber light of floating lanterns and a roaring hearth fire that cast long, dancing shadows across towering shelves. Guests had retired for the evening after another lavish solstice supper, but the manor refused to sleep. Enchanted books rustled faintly on their own, pages turning as if reading scandalous secrets aloud. Elara slipped inside after midnight, telling herself she only wanted a quiet moment with a novel to calm her racing mind. In truth, her body burned.

Frequently Asked Questions

Elves have always been my favorite fantasy creatures, and I've devoured countless books where they shine. One standout is 'The Name of the Wind' by Patrick Rothfuss—though elves aren't the main focus, the Fae creatures like Felurian embody that ethereal, otherworldly charm that elves often possess. Then there's 'The Silmarillion' by Tolkien, which dives deep into elven lore, their wars, and their tragic beauty. It's like a rich tapestry of their history.

For something more modern, 'The Dragonbone Chair' by Tad Williams features the Sithi, a race clearly inspired by elves but with a unique twist. Their melancholy and ancient wisdom seep into every scene they inhabit. And let's not forget 'The Witcher' series—the Aen Seidhe elves are gritty, complex, and far from the usual pristine archetype. Their struggle against human encroachment adds layers of political depth.
