HEAD OVER HEELS

HEAD OVER HEELS

Flora, a little girl of three, and Robert, a little boy of one, who had come to them some months before, bruised and traumatized from the accident that made them orphans. And then, in the next years, there were Daniel, who had endured more cruelty and horror in his short four-year life than most adults ever had to face, Susan and Sharon, twin girls of two, whose single-parent mother had wanted to start a new life in a different country with a man who didn't want children, and Karen, who had been born with a facial deformity that would need countless operations before it was corrected and who had been abandoned in a hospital by her natural parents. They all came and they were all loved, and,

Overall loved this story of A&B. Must say, that the fabricated story of another man by Alanis & her preconceived notions about Brody bordered on the truly prejudiced & juvenile. Aside fr how terribly cruel it was. Liked him bettr than her, bc of how her self-absorbed sensitivity got a tad annoying.

Another hit from E.S. This one is a slow burn, and really no sex, but that doesn’t take away from the story. My heart hurt for the FL in this story, and her tragic beginning. The writer does an amazing job of helping you to understand and even feel the character’s angst. I highly recommend this one.

Bound To Triplets.

Bound To Triplets.

Rose POV As I entered the orphanage I was happy to see that the number of children here is below 10 that means many kids still have the love of their parents and a complete childhood. The place was in a really good condition with every kind of facility available. Soon I was greeted by the 2 caretakers they told me everything regarding the kids and orphanage and then called the kids for me to be able to meet them .

Mr Young

Mr Young

Chapter 7 The worst part of being an orphan is when you suddenly feel sick and there would be nobody to take care of you, no one to nurse you, check your temperature and make you soup. Thirteen years of being an orphan, and I should get used to this type of circumstances but as I walked up to the receptionist, grimacing because the movement worsened the pain on my lower right abdomen, I felt so lost and envied the people who had a family to take care of them.

Billionaire Daddy and Son’s Nun Maid

Billionaire Daddy and Son’s Nun Maid

IRIS The heavy iron gates of St. Luke’s Orphanage screeched as they swung open. For twenty years, that sound meant someone else was leaving. Today, it was for me. I clutched my small canvas bag against my chest, the fabric rough against my palms. Inside were three plain dresses, two pairs of worn shoes, and a Bible with a frayed spine. That was the sum of my life so far. Everything I knew about the world outside these stone walls came from censored reading comprehension texts and grainy, approved Christian movies. The world was a vast, terrifying canvas I had only ever viewed through a keyhole.

My Vampire Fiancé Refused to Lend Me Money, So I Married the Northern Lord

My Vampire Fiancé Refused to Lend Me Money, So I Married the Northern Lord

There was only one stop left, an orphanage for vampire children. Most of the children here had survived that blood-soaked banquet, the small ones of noble families. The butler's betrayal had nearly wiped out the vampire nobles of the core domain. With no parents and no kin to take them in, these vampire orphans were gathered into the orphanage, to wait until they were grown and the Council assigned them respectable work befitting their birth. Thinking of them, I felt only pity. Some of those children had been three years old when it happened.

Rejected While Pregnant: The Masked Alpha's Luna Queen

Rejected While Pregnant: The Masked Alpha's Luna Queen

“Alpha, the police worker is young and infiltrated the orphanage as a lost teen, but unlike other children within the home, he has to constantly cause trouble to be detained in the library that only holds books but has secrets hidden in plain sight. The orphanage is run by humans with no links to the merchant or other illegal activities, but I suspect they are aware the children they take in don’t all come from the streets, for why would they keep Emade’s records so carefully? And not only that, but everything about her was hidden and carefully documented as if waiting on the day someone would come for it.” “So if they cherished her so much, why did she have to leave and incur so much debt l

Married My Ex's Uncle In My Second Time

Married My Ex's Uncle In My Second Time

Until it all disappeared. One morning, the whispers started. The funding for their orphanage was pulled. The private donors withdrew without warning. Within weeks, the place he called home was shuttered. Children were split up, sent off to unfamiliar homes, cold institutions with less oversight and even less compassion. Elias found himself in a hellhole disguised as a sanctuary. The beatings started early. First from the older boys, then the staff who turned a blind eye—or worse. No books. No computers. No more teachers praising his mind. Just survival.

Lucevkin Dreams

Lucevkin Dreams

There were a couple issues that caught my attention immediately: homelessness, orphans and lack of education among the lower classes. After four hours of listening, I excused myself and went back to our tent. I lay down and stared up the cloth roof thinking about the orphans who had no parents growing up in the world alone. How sad. And how relatable! Never knowing the warm arms of someone who loves them. It’s upsetting to think that these issues have not been addressed in a long time. Several generations have let this slip by- Not to mention the murder rates that we have. Murder… One out of eight gets murdered. I paused for a moment as the next thought crept in: Why does that sound like suc

Nanny For The Alpha's Lost Twins

Nanny For The Alpha's Lost Twins

They’d had a child, a crying, messy little baby they’d taken a look at and decided they didn’t want in their lives. There was something oddly romantic about being an orphan, a chance that I was the child of kings and queens, or some starving artists who were now famous, or a hundred other fantastic parents. I knew about that. I’d experienced it in my youth, dreaming that my mother and father were important people who couldn’t admit to the world they’d had child.

Orphan to Luna: The Alpha's Substitute Bride

Orphan to Luna: The Alpha's Substitute Bride

As I was about to get down from the train , I decided that even if the universe had turned everything against me, I wouldn't allow a stranger to just molest meso j turned to the bastard, showing him my middle finger" "Hey , I can't want something that doesn't exist" I left the man stuttering in embarrassment amidst Jeers as I came down from the train, I felt relieved. Standing in front of the orphanage I had grown up in only unnerved me. It had originally been built by the pack to house children who lost their families in the great werewolf wars but now it was a place that housed just about any orphan . I was one of those orphans. And I also knew that it was about to shut down, if we didn't
