Books Like Pride And Prejudice Mga Nobela at Kwento

”Yeah, I’m speechless” I agree. ”What was the name again?” Sebastian asks. ”Pride and Prejudice” Aiden replies. ”This was good, I have to admit. Such strong emotions” I tell him. ”How did you..where did you know this?” Sebastian asks. ”I actually like old romance books, I know this movie was from year 2005 but it’s based on a book by Jane Austen from the year 1813 if I remember correctly” Aiden explains. ”I forgot your minor is English literature” I smile at him.

I doubt I would ever have to bring someone into my bedroom but it never hurts to be prepared. That kind of love sounded like a myth but I knew it was out there for whoever was lucky enough to find it. I had never been lucky and I doubt I would ever be. I picked up pride and prejudice, my all time favorite classic and wondered when and if I would ever find my own Mr. Darcy. Shoving sentiments aside, I opened the large bag I had come with and shoved some of the books in it. I would read them every night and come back for more when I was done with the pile.

Actually, what might be more affecting is how much he seems to enjoy teasing me with it. I stand up and offer him a hand. He gets to his feet on his own. I roll my eyes. Men . We finally go back inside and settle on the couch, each with a book, me in my spot and Ryan in his spot. His looks like a spy or thriller novel. I'm reading Pride and Prejudice for the first time. I'd always meant to read it, but just never had the time. Now that I've got nothing but time, I'm beginning to realize that I should have read this book sooner. I'm loving it.

“Maybe you could ask her for drinks and see where it goes. She's your type. From what Jane told me, I think you two would get along well.” “My type? You mean money hungry?” Mr. Darcy countered. My eyes widened. No one had ever called me money hungry before. “Ouch,” Charles replied, turning to look at his friend. “I didn't get that from her. What's your problem with her?” "She's wearing a designer gown she can't afford and bidding on items just for attention," Mr. Darcy explained. "She's just here to meet a rich husband, so she doesn't have to work her meaningless job. I doubt there's a brain cell in her head that actually functions."

I must be the only person in my class that will read a classic novel for anything other than requirement. I couldn’t think of anyone I knew that would pick up Jane Eyre, Little Women, or Tess of the D’Urbervilles for pleasure. In fact, they were not even my first choice. Little Women came in a close second, but Pride and Prejudice will always win out. There was something beautiful about a couple from two different backgrounds traveling along the bumpy road of love until it was undeniable, and there was something even more beautiful about watching that journey happen. Flicking through the pages anxiously waiting for that sweet first kiss, the passion filled argument, the final declaration. Th

he asked, his gaze focused on me. I smiled, feeling my cheeks turn pink. "Well, I love spending time with my family. They mean everything to me," I said, feeling a sense of warmth spread throughout my body. "And I also love to read. It's a great escape for me." Carlos chuckled. "I can tell you're a bookworm. What's your favorite book?" "Oh, that's a tough one," I replied, thinking back to all the books I've read. "I would have to say 'Pride and Prejudice' by Jane Austen. It's a classic for a reason."

"I believe it has its own value. I've always had a passion for reading and writing." Grandma Ellie jumps in, eyes sparkling. "Oh, how wonderful! I love literature. Do you have a favorite author, dear?" I smile sincerely upon her excitement. "I'm quite fond of Jane Austen. Her insights into society and character are timeless." "Ah, a classic choice," Harold puts in, nodding appraisingly. "Pride and Prejudice is a masterpiece." Rebecca leans back in her chair, swirling her wine glass reflectively. "Personally, I find those stories a bit dull. All that talk of manners and marriage prospects. Don't you think, Pamela?"

I paused to take a deep breath before entering the room, I truly hoped no one would be there because I didn't want to have to answer any questions. I pushed the doors open and entered. It was quiet and a bit dark, save for the small shadow of sunlight that peeped though the small window. It was extremely cold in here and I loved it. I sniffed the last bits of my tears away and proceeded to look for a book to read from the shelves. I hadn't gotten far when I saw the pride and prejudice book. I smiled, picking it up from where it rested on the shelf. I had read this book more than 5 times but I would never get tired of reading it all over again. I opened the first page with a grin.

I murmur then read the rest "annd Prr-edjustice? Nope. Again." "Prre-dyu-dis? Prejudice?!"I exclaim quietly. Pride and prejudice! I can feel that I read it right. I walk to where Gabriel's book was lying cover up. It was too long but I can spell it. T-H-E M-A-K-I-N-G O-F T-H-E A-T-O-M-I-C B-O-M-B I am pretty sure I recognize the word bomb but I might be wrong. Why would Gabriel read those kinds of book?

She wasn't sure if she was ready to risk her heart again, especially not with someone she barely knew. As she finally found the "Pride and Prejudice" she was searching for, nestled amongst a collection of dusty tomes, a wave of relief washed over her. It was a beautiful edition, the leather cover worn but supple, the pages yellowed with age. It was a treasure, a piece of literary history that she would cherish.
