Classrooms grow noisier. More frustrating. More alive. Teachers burn out faster in places that refuse to support them. Where support exists, something rare happens: authority becomes relational rather than positional. Students listen not because they must, but because the system is flexible enough to earn attention. Again, unevenly. Always unevenly. There are still tyrants. Still demagogues. Still people who exploit uncertainty to promise clarity. They gain power. They cause harm. Nothing about this world prevents that. What changes is duration.
