I entered mine, went through the three books I had gotten from the store, and set them down on the bed. I folded my arms and read their names. The Claiming Rites, Finding the One, and Under the Red Moon. There was no order in which anyone should read these books, so I sat down and picked up The Claiming Rites. After an hour, I finished reading. The book made zero sense, and then I picked up Finding the One and spent another hour reading through it. While the first book was incomplete, the second made a little more sense. I picked up the third, which I had gone to Zion’s room with. I took my time reading, and another hour went by.

A whole section of it tucked into the far corner like something private. Novels. Some of them old enough that the titles had faded. I pulled one out carefully. A Russian novel. Thick. Dense. The kind of book that required patience and silence and the willingness to sit inside discomfort for extended periods.

Sleep refused to come. My mind felt restless. Maybe there was something in this room that could help me remember. Slowly, I stood up. I began looking around. The bookshelf immediately caught my attention. Dozens of books filled the shelves. I pulled several out. There were history books, pack law books and training manuals. Then I noticed something else. There were fiction novels; thrillers, mysteries and crime novels. I blinked. Apparently, I enjoyed those. "I don't remember reading any of these."

He held up the book I was reading and gave me an incredulous look, “Know your Earth? You can’t be serious!” “It’s a good read,” I defended myself. “There are other less depressing and boring genres you can read apart from this. Romance, thriller... you are too young to be reading this!” “I’m not into romance, fairy tales or horrors, especially not mythologies.” Ever since werewolves and vampires stopped being Halloween stories and became more real than fiction in my life, I just couldn’t read those kinds of books anymore. Romance books only reminded me of the love of my life and how I had abandoned him in fear and desperation. I should write a book on my own life, it would be a best seller,

Permit me to say this but I don't think I will regret staying here…. The book clearly covered my face as I tried to find my way through an empty desk. Florida could only laugh at my silly attitude. She just won't understand so I laughed along with her. Dropping down the books, I heaved in relief. "Fifty Shades Of Grey," I read out, caressing the book cover. I'm definitely reading all these. "Shannara Chronicles," “Game of thrones,” "Beautiful Disaster," "wow…..this is really amazing," I exclaimed, reading the title of each book I grabbed.

Emma said, walking deep into the living room. "Thanks." She walked to a set of shelves on the far side of the room, running her fingers over the spines of his books. A lot of them were classics, novels by Dickens, Voltaire, Dumas, Melville, and Hemingway. She smiled when her fingers ran over the spine of not one, but three copies of Mitchell's Gone with the Wind. There were modern novels, too, including Stephen King and Sidney Sheldon, but they didn't look as well read as some of the others.

Some of my favorites include 'Dune' by Frank Herbert, 'Ender's Game' by Orson Scott Card, and 'Harry Potter' series by J.K. Rowling. But I'm always open to discovering new books too." Fiona nodded, impressed by Scott's literary tastes. She herself was an avid reader and appreciated finding common ground with him.

Bella is really going to benefit from someone who is really laid back and able to calm her down. Challenge this week is going to be a bit different.
