Whispers of Frost and Fire

Whispers of Frost and Fire

I left the temple and went straight home, crawling into bed. I refused to process anything that had happened. Tonight, I was just a normal seventeen-year-old girl. Tomorrow? I’d wake up a magical wolf with winter powers. That night, I had another dream of the winter land. The world was frozen, a vast, endless tundra. Snow covered everything, and the air was sharp and still. But despite the cold, I felt fine—strong, even. The only problem was... I was alone.

FALLING IN LOVE AGAIN

FALLING IN LOVE AGAIN

He just shrugged it off with a few words. "You're just being paranoid." -- Morning came. Althea wore her favorite purple jacket. She was going out. Making sure she brought everything she needed, she headed out to the small store near her apartment. It was cold, the winter is, after all, approaching. Althea did not hate winter she loved it. When winter comes, she would occasionally sit near the window, with a thick blanket on her body and a cup of steaming hot chocolate with marshmallows floating on it at hand, together with Tyler. They would talk and laugh about the past and then plan about the future.

The best part of your story is Characterization and language❤. The plot twist is amazing, For a moment a/f 1st chapter I thought she will find another nicest man, but you changed the entire scenario. So unimaginable twist. I hated Tyler in 1st chapter, but now chapters later I kind of love him.

it's a cute story, only the jumping around time frame can get a little confusing. I think a note at the top of each chapter that mentions *present* or *flashback ___ years* would be beneficial for the reader. Other than that. I really like the story and am looking forward to updates:)

Song of the Winter Solstice

Song of the Winter Solstice

The world around me seemed hushed, draped in an ethereal shroud of silence that only winter's arrival could bestow. My senses were tantalized by the aroma that hung heavy in the crisp air—a symphony of snowflakes, each one a delicate note contributing to the grand composition of nature's breath. This was a fragrance unique to winter, a blend of cold purity and untamed wilderness. The snow-laden ground and the towering sentinels of the forest seemed to hold their breath, waiting for the world to awaken from its frozen slumber.

Midwinter Town: A Novella

Midwinter Town: A Novella

He left the room. A fierce winter covered the forests with heavy snow-clusters and icicles, and filled ravines to their edges with drifts, so that the whole land seemed a single white plain. Great, sudden storms came, in which men and herds were lost under the pall of snow; roads grew misleading and perilous. A lonely Jaweldur howled in the distance.

Beta Romeo And His Rogue

Beta Romeo And His Rogue

That's all that came from Nick's lips, and he got out of the car in a huff. According to Rena, the evening is a good time to calm down. Give yourself time to enjoy the life you have lived. Like this, for example, with the capital of warmer clothes because the air is a little more extreme than usual because it enters winter. On the edge of the park with a long bench became one of her favorite places. She read a book accompanied by hot tea, which was no longer desirable. Enjoy the silence. That is indeed the time people prefer to take refuge under thick blankets.

THE CEO ALREADY KNEW

THE CEO ALREADY KNEW

"She's kind. She's curious. She's going to break hearts." "Hana is brave. He cries when he needs to, and then he gets up again." "Celeste — the baby — she's fierce. She's going to change the world." I paused. "I miss you. Every day." The wind blew. The roses rustled. And somewhere, in the space between, I felt her listening. --- The winter was cold. I spent most of my time indoors, by the fire, reading. Celeste's journals. My own. The letters from strangers. The stories of people who had been touched by her life.

MOON-BOUND HEARTS

MOON-BOUND HEARTS

Winter arrived gently that year, blanketing the valley in soft white. The snow fell in thick, fluffy flakes, muffling all sound. The stream froze solid. The animals retreated to their dens. The pack settled into the quiet rhythm of the cold months—more time indoors, more stories by the fire, more moments of simple connection. Elara cherished these days, the way they brought her family together in ways that warmer seasons couldn't. There was nowhere else to be.

THE MANOR OF WINTER SECRETS

THE MANOR OF WINTER SECRETS

The grand library glowed with the soft amber light of floating lanterns and a roaring hearth fire that cast long, dancing shadows across towering shelves. Guests had retired for the evening after another lavish solstice supper, but the manor refused to sleep. Enchanted books rustled faintly on their own, pages turning as if reading scandalous secrets aloud. Elara slipped inside after midnight, telling herself she only wanted a quiet moment with a novel to calm her racing mind. In truth, her body burned.

The Goddess Vessel

The Goddess Vessel

VANESSA'S POV The first snow fell in earnest, blanketing the territory in a deep, silencing white. The world narrowed to the warmth of the lodge, the scent of stew simmering over the hearth, and the soft murmur of the pack gathered inside. The frantic energy of growth and rebuilding had given way to the quiet introspection of winter. It was a time for stories, for memory, for taking stock.

Revenge of Flame Luna

Revenge of Flame Luna

There was nothing else I could do except feed the firewood into the fireplace and read a book while waiting for him to come back. After spending an hour buried in Bibbi the Hunchback Wolf, my eyes finally started to ache. I closed the book and walked towards the tightly shut window. Down below, only a few werewolves in plain clothes could be seen carrying axes towards the forest. Winter would soon arrive in Emerald Earth. My wolf senses picked up the scent of pine trees more strongly than the damp bushes covered in morning dew. “Stay here, Lulu,” I muttered, mimicking his order. “If only I could have a tone like yours, I’d order you to stop ordering me around all the time.”
