I squinted my eyes and glared at her. Tentatively, she removed the paper cover of her book. Underneath was a far cry from the gently paper cover. The paper cover had a street with cherry blossoms blooming on each side. The title ‘Never Apart’ indicated a soft romance. The ‘real’ book cover, the one hidden under cherry blossoms was a half naked man, He had no shirt and showed tight muscles. all over his torso were tattoos His hand enclosed the throat of a blonde girl, she was dressed in a shirt probably his because of how large it is. Her head is thrown back in obvious pleasure and the title is ‘Choke me Harder.’ Definitely nothing a sophisticated young miss should read.

I go the opposite way, painstakingly reading each and every title. “Callie!” Alice exclaims excitedly. “I think I found something.” I hurry over, seeing her pull a smaller black book off the shelf. There’s no title on this book, only a gold Baphomet overlaid on the leather. “The Book of the Beast,” I whisper, eyes lighting up. “I think you did find something.” She cracks the spine and I lean over, heart racing. And then the library doors open and close with a boom, echoing throughout the entire room. Alice and I both jump, and she quickly shoves the book into her cloak.

We're at the end!!! Woohoo! Where do I begin? So far, Hatred turns out to be the most challenging book I've written. Not just with the trope and the content, but both emotionally and physically. There were a lot of challenges along the way, but I made it. WE made it, and I know you're probably tired of hearing me say this now, but I truly wouldn't be here without your support. Hatred isn't just a step out of the comfort zone for me, it's a book that I found myself so attached to along the way and one I learn a lot from, so thank you all, for letting me write Eva and Emerson's story, for believing in me and for staying with me until the very end.
