Soon I had begun to take every book off the shelf, shaking the pages, just in case, it was in there. An hour passed and I was almost done with the entire bookshelf, but no sign of the damn card. Where the fuck was it? Another few books and I was on the last one, but that card was nowhere to be found. Did it maybe slip under? I placed another book down before looking at the shelf. It was large, made of solid oak. You could see that the bottom shelf was at least five inches off the ground but there was no panel I could take off. Slowly I tried to move the shelf, cursing when I realised it was bolted to the wall.

Inside, they stacked the store floor to ceiling with shelves of books that look like they could cave in at any moment. The shelves are made of dark painted wood and someone haphazardly shoved most of the books in place. The shelves at the top are heavy with dust and cobwebs. It was everlasting smell of good books. The bookshelves are so tall that ladders are even present in every corners. Also shelves that seems to stick on the walls, they are much taller than the shelves at the center. Everything seems to arrange per catalogue, I could see some of it just by standing here. Also there’s a lot tables, long and double ones. From the left I could also see some things that looks like a crystal ball, maps, and are that breakers? There’s also some flask, droppers, and test tubes!

I think it's for entertainment. I pass each column of shelves, eyeing those past-dusty books that have been written with a feather. "Did you find something?" I ask Benny. We both went separate ways. He walks to my side, handing the big book, but the book immediately touches the hard wood floor.
