Blood bond to him.

Blood bond to him.

“It’s time Bianca, and I’m going to need to leave. You do understand everything you need to do?” “Yes, and thank you, Aaron. I believe I’ll be just fine.” Just as he leaves, I realize that I already forgot what color candles that I’m supposed to use. Were they the black candles, or the red ones I’m needing for this. I’m sure I need the red candles for this. I set the each of the three red candles to each point of the tringle, and use the words that were on the page, but after an hour I feel this was getting pointless. I looked back into the book where it was talking about the blood.

Demon Law : Lost Isle Book 1

Demon Law : Lost Isle Book 1

Better. There are actual tables and chairs instead of trees split into shared benches. Glass bottles line the shelves. Polished clay containers gleam under oil light. A dance floor sprawls open near the back. Even the light feels like memory. Wax candles mingle with crystals—the kind they use in homes. Luminous stones that don’t need flame or wind to glow. Smoke curls in coils—glowwraps and herbal pipes. Soko cuts through it all, warm and radiant. I love her confidence, envy that quiet kind of power that just parts the way wherever she deems to go.

The Bodyguard’s Siren

I disabled it earlier—another small detail in a long list of details I refused to leave to chance. Cara takes two steps in. Then she stops. The bookstore is transformed. Tea light candles glow softly from every surface—along the tops of the bookshelves, the checkout counter, the window sills. Rose petals trail across the floor, scattered deliberately, leading deeper into the space. The lamps are dimmed, casting everything in warm, golden light. Shadows stretch lazily across familiar spines and wooden beams, making the place feel intimate and sacred. For a long moment, she doesn’t say anything.

The Lycan’s Claim On The Rejected Omega

The Lycan’s Claim On The Rejected Omega

She lit three candles on a tray and placed them on the ground in front of her. Then she sat, and maybe I missed it, or she had it all along, I didn't know, but she brought out a large book. It was dark, and I knew it was a book on forbidden magic. “Nine more pages, to the left.” She said, softly, as the candlelight danced on her face. She seemed completely absorbed in the book. Her slender fingers moved over the page in a kind of caress. “Cinders. Burn.” She said again, with her eyes carefully trained on the book. “Water, no. Powers.”

Hmmmm , I always thought the Lycan king or prince would over rule a mere Alpha .. I don’t like the hesitation of the main character she had so many chances to reject and seemed to not realize she was screwing herself and her family.. she needs some backbone.. we all know who she should be
Sara
Just a few chapters and I’m already addicted. So much detail and description of the emotions and the bond with two different paths of alphas. I can imagine the choice but I know what mine would be for my own happiness I just hope Scarlett makes the same choice for herself.

Yes Sir: Steamy BL Shorts

Yes Sir: Steamy BL Shorts

Owen found a box of thick pillar candles in the storage closet. They were leftovers from a cancelled reading event, vanilla scented. He carried them back to the main reading room, where Jax had arranged two of the heavy leather armchairs near the big window. The rain was still lashing against the glass, and the only light came from the occasional flash of lightning that lit up the room in stark, white bursts.

Troubled Heart

Troubled Heart

And when I unlocked the cabin door and pushed it open— She gasped. Everything had gone exactly to plan. The fire was already lit, casting flickering light across the wood-paneled walls. Dozens of candles glowed from every shelf and sill, their scent subtle—pine, cedar, and something softly sweet. A tray of chocolates, berries, and cheese was on the rug in front of the hearth, like the beginning of a love letter told in taste and texture. A bottle of champagne rested in a bucket of fresh snow. Two flutes waited nearby. Lilac turned to me, eyes wide. “Makayla…”

Bryant truly is such a gifted writer. This is another great story that is absolutely worth a read! Loved the characters/their personalities and the differences they brought to the table that balanced each other out beautifully. As always author - job well done! Cant wait for more from you :)

Great read. As always, Author Bryant keeps you on the edge of your seat. Just enough spice to be spicy but not too much. I love that everything Bryant puts in her books has a purpose. There isn’t a spicy scene just to have one. Everything builds for the storyline and characters. Another 5 star.

The Devil's Claim... His little mouse.

The Devil's Claim... His little mouse.

Among them were breast clamps, with adjustable screws. The room was illuminated by a forest of thick wax candles. Unlike the scented ones she knew, these were unscented. She remembered hearing about them just yesterday from Raphael, these were the candles she had talked about they were designed to melt at a specific temperature so the wax could be poured onto bare skin, delivering a sharp, stinging heat that eventually cooled into a restrictive second skin. There was a supple leather lined with soft sheepskin. And the velvet curtains muffled all sound from the outside world, ensuring that whatever happened within these walls remained a secret between the two people inside.

She sighed, feeling more relaxed from the moment the scent surrounded her. “Vanillin,” he said. “Excuse me?” “The aroma of old books. It’s actually lignin—related to vanillin. It’s why used bookstores have that fragrance they do. I read about it”—he motioned to a book on a shelf to his left—“in a book.” He grinned. She looked him over—maybe a little older than she’d original thought, slightly scruffy, T-shirt with something about obscenities on the chest. “What sort of books do you like?” he asked.

The Cruel Alpha's Unwanted Bride

The Cruel Alpha's Unwanted Bride

The fragrance filled the room, creating an atmosphere of calm and serenity. Next, I lit the candles. I had chosen a variety of sizes and shapes, all in soft, muted colors that complemented the lavender of my nightgown. Their flickering flames cast a gentle, golden glow throughout the bathroom, their light dancing on the walls and ceiling. The candles added a touch of magic to the room, transforming it into a sanctuary where I could escape from the world and its troubles.

The man is so cruel and mean. I really don't understand Avery. She seems like an intelligent person but she is a pushover unfortunately. I'll keep reading though, hoping she becomes fierce and kicks his ass.

Here to correct a review I mistakenly left for a different book with a similar premise. As far as THIS novel, the author really does a great job writing in a way that makes you feel like you're there. The FL is pathetic at times, but likeable as hell. The ML though? Pathetic is an understatement lol

THE NEWEST ALPHA

“That's not how you talk about my cooking. He frowned. “That's not what I meant. It smells like an animal in heat. “It's probably just my mother's friend Cynthia. She does tarot readings at a store downtown and they burn all kinds of incense. The scent follows her like a cloud. She would be the type of woman who would wear a perfume called Eau de Wolf. Oh, that reminds me. ’ As the pasta boiled, I dragged the huge book Derek had given me from my backpack by the door and held it out to him. “My friend Derek gave me this. He's a mythology student and I think he can help me make a case to discredit Ruth...
