My Vampire Professor

My Vampire Professor

A parent growled. “No!!” That voice came from Tessa and the forcefulness of her tone startled everybody. “You can’t fire him, Mr. Connors. Professor Evergreen did nothing wrong just as everyone was saying. He has limited edition books and books that haven’t been released to the public in his library at his home. He was talking about them in class, and we wanted to see them. He didn’t force us to go to his home. The students who wanted to see these books chose to visit there. It was nothing more than a book club. What happened to Morgan was unfortunate, but it wasn’t his fault.” Everyone fell silent as they processed Tessa’s words. I was impressed with how strong-minded she was. She appeared

Blue Moon Bed & Breakfast

Blue Moon Bed & Breakfast

Greta went to Gabby’s office to find her poring over the translated journal. She knocked and waited politely, even though the door was open. “Hi, anything interesting about that thing?” “Well, there is, if you’re looking to blackmail half the town a few hundred years ago. Billy won’t like what it has to say about his family. The bookshop owner won’t like what it says about her family. It seems they were secret nature worshipers. Do you think that means they were witches?” Gabby looked up questioningly. “There’s so much here I’m not sure if it’s fair to make this public without permission from all the families in it.”

Hello, so I just finish the 1st chapter, honestly, I think you introduced too many characters in the first chapter, why don't you focus on the MC and the husband and wife first. You can introduce the other staffs later when they play a role in the chapter. Good luck!

I love the way you tell us about all the different people that are going to be in the book. I like how each chapter is about one set of characters and how they are part of the whole tapestry of the story. Love that there's a Boggart in your book, they really are very mischievous but don't mean harm.

The World isn't as Ugly nor Beautiful as You Think

Megumi smiles and wipes her dripping tears (Don”t they realize how dangerous the situation they face is? “Anyway,” Megumi said. “You have to give her some AR,” Megumi told Alfi. “But, if I do that, the book can be labeled as 18+. And the worst case is the book can be considered offensive by FPI (a group of bigots, don”t ask me about what religion, please. I don”t want to have a deal with the court anymore) or such! The Author can be killed by them!” Alfi said in a panic.

your only job was to produce the next fantastic book. Now, here he was, justifying it. It was your fault. The teacher had suggested that they not should discuss their work. — One thing is entertainment, another is social criticism, preaching to the reader. "What's wrong with a little preaching?" People need to hear the facts. Many Australians continue to act like ostriches, thinking that the government has everything covered. control. Run away from the truth. He didn't avoid these subjects in his books, he just didn't dwell on them.

Tied Up By My Hot Professor

Tied Up By My Hot Professor

If I were to engage in a sexual relationship with a student, the academy’s reputation would falter. My initial intention was to use Archer Daniels. However, that would be problematic when my jealously rears its ugly head. It leaves me up the creek without a paddle, as I’m unsure how I’ll use this alluring creature to get my revenge. The entire class read the book, including Eva, who looks lost in the pages, her eyes tracking the words with wide-eyed and innocent surprise. The book is controversial, hence why we use it here. It details the greatness shown by ruthless tyrants from history. Men and women that most people regard as inhuman monsters, but we can learn a lot from their past leaders

—Manila Times But not everyone was pleased. Within days, conservative columnists began criticizing the book. “Del Fuego’s latest work undermines the sanctity of motherhood and promotes selfishness disguised as empowerment.” Religious groups issued statements. “We are concerned about the moral implications of a book that encourages women to question their roles in the family.” Social media lit up. Some praised Maria for her honesty. Others accused her of being ungrateful, privileged, even dangerous. Maria read every comment. She didn’t respond.

Vashti's Daughter

Vashti's Daughter

Anna ended the call and poured the pancake batter onto the griddle. “I saw the photos. Anything I can do to help?” “Set the table?” Anna tried to maintain her composure, but she was viably shaken. It was her choice and her compulsion in the present world, and the vow she made to Esther in her other world to publish Vasthi’s Daughter as nonfiction, not to mention how Nate came to write the book in the first place. It never occurred to her that challenged religious text would have resulted in such a backlash. While neither she nor Nate were considered atheist, Anna was well aware of the uproar Philip Pullman’s His Dark Materials trilogy caused. While banning a book was a sure-fire way to make

His Book club

His Book club

I called again, moving toward the door but I got no answer. This guy is not only a nerd, he is also weird and somehow crazy. I wonder how I was going to cope with him when I joined his book club. I grabbed my phone off the table and unlocked it. As the screen popped on, messages flooded in. Group chats messages , especially the ones I've muted for a while now. ‘Arian Smith, Orleans College Book Club President, Accused of Misusing Club Funds.’ I blinked, trying to wake myself from the dream. I scrolled down, read it again and it was still the same.

Forbidden Taboos : Steamy dark stories

The book exploded upon release. Reviews called it groundbreaking. “Raw. Honest. The ultimate study in taboo desire.” Emma became infamous overnight. Job offers dried up—too controversial. She stayed with Elias. Co-author on every subsequent paper. Her body the living archive. Forever linked in academic infamy.

Runaway Heiress: The Billionaire’s Forgotten Bride

"The New York Magazine exclusive. They ran the first three chapters as a serial excerpt." "And the reception?" "The server crashed," Blackwood said. "Twice. It's trending number one worldwide. Pre-orders on A****n have already hit the bestseller list." Isabella smiled. It was a small, tight movement of her lips. "Good." "Isabella," Blackwood leaned forward, his voice dropping to a whisper. "This is... risky. The DA will use this against you. They'll say it proves malice. They'll say it proves a pattern of obsession."
