The sight of it brought back a flood of memories, bittersweet and poignant. “You are a lover of dark romance?” I asked, narrowing my eyes in shock. The question hung in the air, almost surreal. Cole looked at me and then at the cover of the book. “Yes, I am. I’m actually a lover of dark romance and I really like this book. I have read it before, but then I just skim through some pages when I’m bored or better still when I want to reconnect back with the characters,” Cole said, his voice filled with a quiet passion. Gosh, he was using the exact words I would have used if I was the one asked the question.

Beneath the noise were two people who cared very much for me. DISCLAIMER: This book is rated 18+ and labelled dark romance because it was written for an adult audience with explicit sex scenes and potentially disturbing scenarios. One of the main lead is kind of a pyschopath (the FMC’s word, not mine) and so, he displays behaviours that might be triggering to readers. If any of that upsets you, please refrain from reading. If you go ahead to read, I will not be held responsible for whatever emotions it evokes. In simpler words, this is a dark werewolf romance.

I always give my social medi@ page but if it feels good to you and makes you happy to write a negative review and ruin all the hard work and sleepless nights I am putting into this book, then go ahead! As a writer it's really disheartening and demotivating because conveying emotions, making you laugh and cry with the words is not an easy task. In the beginning and even in the middle, I gave multiple warnings about dark theme. And if you are finding that what Damien has done to Angel is too much than you haven't actually read any dark romance yet. I am not the kind of person who rants like this or gets angry but I can't tolerate it when it becomes too much.

Lucas was mine now, and I was his, the forbidden bond stronger than any sacred tie. I traced patterns on his chest, already planning the next time I would push him over the edge. His hand stroked my hair, and I smiled against his skin. The wolf had surrendered, and the heat between us burned hotter than ever. We dozed briefly, but his cock stirred against my thigh, and soon we were at it again, this time with me riding him on the couch, my hips rolling as he gripped my waist and thrust up to meet every descent. His knot swelled inside me once more, locking us as I ground down, milking every drop from him while his mouth latched onto my nipple, sucking hard enough to leave marks.

Trigger Warning Hello Lovely Readers, This book may contain content that might be triggering for some. It is a dark romance with degradation, BDSM that doesn’t contain consent within the dynamic (I know, not something I typically have in my book). There are many instances where consent is very dubious and there is kidnapping. Because what fun is writing dark romance without hitting those tropes? I will add to anyone worried, this one does have a HEA because I’m a sucker for that happily ever after and I couldn’t imagine not giving Cass her happy ending.
