A Deal With The Billionaire

A Deal With The Billionaire

He came out and walked down the hallway taking the right turn at the rear end and walked down reaching the only door there. He twisted the knob and stepped in, locking the door. He moved to the black-bound book with N.5 initials on it and pressed the button hidden underneath. A machine sound erupted and the wall slid to the left revealing a door. He input his fingerprint and allowed the monitor to scan his eyes. The door opened and Anthonio went in. The door closed behind him locking by itself. The room was very spacious like a mini house. Computers, monitors, machines, and a CCTV monitor sat at one side.

Desired By The Ruthless Alpha

Desired By The Ruthless Alpha

Alex linked. He was looking at the same door and immediately his eyebrows furrowed in confusion. "Don't you smell that?" I linked back. "What smell?! Are you ok Alpha?" Alex looked panic, like he was unsure what to do. "Stay put, just investigating something." My eyes were locked on at the black door; it was large and had intricate wood carvings imbedded into the exterior wood, but I knew this wasn't a regular wooden door. It was steel, disguised as wood to keep intruders out. I only knew that because my father used the same type of doors growing up in the pack house. He was a paranoid Alpha that took extreme measures to keep us all protected, especially my mother.

A Few Hundred Poppies

A Few Hundred Poppies

I jumped a little with surprise, my hand shooting up to clutch at his arm, a whirlwind of wonder and trepidation rapidly rising in my chest. The staircase that had now emerged plunged deeper into the earth with each glass step. West and I exchanged an anxious look. "This is some next level shit," I finally said, shaking my head with disbelief. "A fucking secret door? Explain yourself, West." "I-I've never seen this before," West stammered, making me raise a brow in concern. "You knocked out this book," he said, letting go of my waist to crouch down to pick up the green hardcover now on the floor. "Must've triggered the movement. I don't think Mr. Kreep built this, though?"

From Rags to Richmond

From Rags to Richmond

That meant that there was a space behind it. So Warren searched the room again. On the bookshelf where he found the books, he slowly picked out the books, one by one to see if there was a mechanism to open the hidden door. But he still couldn't find anything. Warren then decided to use force and bust open the wall with a Reiteki-infused punch, but even that was unsuccessful.

Minor errors here and there with the characters names getting switched around or repeated. Read this in a day. Great story. The MC what a roller-coaster he went through. 5/5 ending, for ME! I do have to ask will there be a sequel? Is this the end or did you post on another site author?

I really liked this book. The author demonstrated good imagination.....right up to the end. That's where you lost me. I'm lost as to why you would allow his childhood sweetheart to live through the final destruction only to kill her when he finds out she is the only one he loved that is still alive.

The girl with fire bones and other stories

The girl with fire bones and other stories

The doors were labelled with planets of the solar system except Earth; they were not labelled for figurative purpose because each door actually leads to the planets mentioned; those doors were known as “Dimensional Gates” Eric opened a brown door in front of him which had no tag, the door led to a large library, he climbed up three steps and was standing in the large room full of book shelves; one could spend a life time dedicated to reading and still not finish the books in this library. Mystical books of various sizes and titles like: Eye of the universe, Esoteric Time science, Time and Matter, Anti-matter and Gods, The way of Nova, The way of Elohim, The trinity, Mastering the Magic of Da

"'Wait, let me check the ground very well and see if we can find her there,' she said and shifted her hand fully into the room. Then she started making her hand curve in a way that the touch could reach the ground, and she could see what was actually happening." "She did this for some time, got tired, then returned back to her previous position." "'I didn't see anything. Maybe we should try going into the house by ourselves so we could see what is truly going on with her,' she said to them." "Immediately, I started hearing some pushing sounds from my door. They had started pushing, but the door didn't open. They had forgotten that the door wasn't made of cheap wood." "A door made with wood f

The Rebirth of a Scorned Heiress

The Rebirth of a Scorned Heiress

It spanned the entire back wall, filled with files, leather-bound volumes, and odd-looking arts and ceramics. “That’s it?” she whispered. Bryan nodded, already moving toward it. “The lock mechanism is hidden behind the third row from the top. Help me shift this ladder.” The two moved quickly; Bryan climbed up, feeling for the hidden panel behind the books. After a moment, there was a soft click, and a portion of the bookshelf slid aside, revealing a sleek metal door with a biometric scanner and keypad. Lily stepped forward, her heart skipping a beat as she took in the sight. “This... isn’t just any vault. It’s practically a fortress,” she muttered as her hand brushed over the iron door.

The Alpha King's Breeder

The Alpha King's Breeder

I have a feeling this isn’t food. I twist the single manacle I’m left wearing on my right hand as I near the door, worried about messing up my plan by opening it and whoever’s behind it locking it tight again, like Declan failed to do. I make a snap decision and stuff a book as far as I can beneath the left door, knowing the right side is always the one that swings open. If the door remains unlevel, it won’t lock properly. At least, I’m praying that’s the case. I listen as keys jingle on the other side of the door and stand back, my heart hammering.

is someone stealing your books. I red a story almost identical to this a few weeks ago but I can't remember the name of it. The girl was running from a bad pack though and ran into the alpha who offered a proposal to her to be his breeder for protection. Everything else is identical

These books have been my lifeline. I am crushed to reach this point and have to leave this beautifully tragic world and all its perfectly flawed characters. I can't wait for the next update, and honestly hope (though I know it is in vain) we get to follow this family tree for even more generations.

The Billionaire's Contract Wife

The Billionaire's Contract Wife

As Alexander and I explored the depths of our newly acquired mansion, we stumbled upon a hidden door concealed behind an intricately carved bookcase. Intrigued by the discovery, we exchanged excited glances and approached the mysterious entrance, our curiosity piqued. With a gentle push, the door swung open, revealing a hidden library bathed in the soft glow of flickering candlelight. The air was thick with the scent of ancient parchment, and the shelves were lined with rows upon rows of weathered books and delicate scrolls.

The Groom From The Fairy-Tale Land

The Groom From The Fairy-Tale Land

Nevertheless, even though he had said he trusted Grace, he wasn't so reckless as to fully trust a stranger in a bizarre world like this. Staring at the metal door, Adro took a step back to look at it from bottom to top and repeated it. ‘This is strange. How do I open it? Those people brought Grace to the room too quickly earlier, so I didn't have a chance to observe more how they used this door. He touched the door and clucked because there were no knobs on its surface. The door was made of metal, like the doors to the treasure rooms in the castle. However, there were two doors, and in the middle of them was a box with two round buttons glowing yellow.
