Where She Falls, We Catch Her

Where She Falls, We Catch Her

“You realize she’s going to memorize this place by the time she’s five.” “I know,” Evelyn murmured, pride threaded through her voice. On the rug, Eva had already chosen. The book was thick, with a worn blue cover and an illustration of a dragon coiled around a tower. She sat cross - legged, fingers pressing lightly against the embossed scales on the cover before opening it. The illustrations inside were rich — watercolor skies, mountains, and dragons with eyes like jewels. Her small voice read the shapes of the letters aloud, haltingly, not yet forming the full words but tasting their rhythm. She traced the dragon’s curved horns, then its tail, then the tower stones one by one.

The Dark Protector

The Dark Protector

**This is the second book in the Elemental Dragon series. While it can be read as a standalone book, references will be made to the first book, The Arena. As I step off Tana’s penthouse balcony, I shift, flying away from what I just heard. Tana, the last fire dragon, has been claimed. And by a Lycan no less. I can’t believe she fell to him. She knew he was her mate, but being mated and being claimed are two very different things.

This is book number 2. It does not disappoint. There is no loss of momentum in this series. The characters continue to grow and evolve. Never a dull chapter. Cooper really did an excellent job setting up the series with places to go and more characters to introduce. Brilliant.

Dawn Smith was the little sister she never had. “Great!” Dawn said, happily “ooh, Harry Potter!” she added as she flopped down onto the bed, her black and purple striped hair fanning out over the bedspread. She snatched the book from Lena’s hands “I prefer Goblet of Fire” she glanced up at the older woman “it had dragons”. “So does Philosopher’s Stone”, Lena pointed out. Dawn blew a raspberry at that. “Hardly. It has an itty bitty baby dragon named Norbert but that’s it”, she said “nothing like the badass Hungarian Horntail” Dawn rolled over onto her stomach “hey, you do think dragons are real? That would be so cool”.

The Dragon King's Pet

The Dragon King's Pet

His lips quivered in fear as he stared at the dragon's eyes, which were like flames and body, so ancient and dark. “What do you want?” Minerva asked absentmindedly as the dragon stared into her soul. It nudged her head, its snout as if he could read her mind. Then it looked away from her. Behind her, Vincent stood there, a protective hawk. He didn't like it that there was another watching out for Minerva. “I don't like this dragon,” Vincent murmured. Minerva would have laughed if they were not in a situation like this. The dragon tilted its head as if he heard what Vincent had said. Then it moved his attention back to Minerva.

TAMING THE BEAST: HER LITTLE PET

TAMING THE BEAST: HER LITTLE PET

Elaina noticed it and urged him impatiently, “What is it? Can you read the strange language?” Drake's face turned grim and he replied, “I can read it. This book… It belongs to dragons. In fact it is an ancient book written in ancient dragon language that dates back to the first dragon to ever exist. Learning the language is compulsory for dragon kings while growing up so that is how I know it…” he paused and turned to look at Elaina dead in the eyes. “How did humans get a hold of this? Where did you find this again, Elaina?” he asked.

A DRAGON TALE

A DRAGON TALE

Dragomir! It originally belonged to the ancient dragon kingdom of Islandia. The dragons had gone in search of wisdom and power and they had found the heart of magic. The heart of magic made them wiser and stronger, causing them to prosper. She closed the book and paused deep in thought, she had no idea that it formerly belonged to dragons. The stories her father had told her did not include this part. She read some more, there were different clues on how it could be identified, where it was previously found. Fake marrying my new boss

Fake marrying my new boss

*Will* I open the book, revealing the vibrant illustrations of dragons dancing through the skies. “This one is about a dragon named Ember who learns to overcome her fears.” I begin to read, my voice low and soothing, aiming to pull both Frida and Kiera into the enchanting world of the story. “Once upon a time, in a distant land, there was a dragon named Ember. Unlike the other dragons, who soared through the clouds with confidence, Ember was afraid to fly.” I glance at Kiera, who leans in slightly, her eyes reflecting interest.

My little Dragon Queen

My little Dragon Queen

“For all your talk about the divine grace of your fire, all you have left to boast of after your encounter with the dragons is that unsightly charred thing you call a limb-” “And you?” Elton snarls. “And where were you when the dragonlord came to take back her husband that you had been the one to take? I seem to recall your abrupt and hasty exit the second you heard the roars of the dragons - dare I say it, you all but fled.” “It is called strategy, something your smoke-addled mind might not comprehend-” Duke Elton smiles, slow and cruel. The smile of knowing. “It is because dragons are immune to your toxins, just as they are to my flames, is it not?” Lord Elton sneers.
