My banishment made the Kraken go back to the sea. "Don't be jealous of monsters!" Nia approached me and hugged my arm.

Our eyes widened as the creature hauled itself out of the well. “It’s a land kraken!” I yelled. The massive thing was huge fifteen meters wide, twenty tall and terrifyingly fast on its tentacles. Trees snapped like twigs as it charged after us. We ran for our lives toward the final quest area.

For some reason, she felt off. “What are you doing?” Zara suddenly asked. “Shut up, Zara. I’m trying to feel some—” She barely completed the rest of her words when a faint creak echoed. Nyra pressed harder. A panel shifted, and her heart raced. Inside the hidden crevice, dust-coated paper lay in a roll. Instinctively, she pulled one out gently. It was a letter with faded ink on it. The crest at the bottom bore the Draven insignia.

“Max!” Byron continued to yell at the Kraken that was treating the water as its fishing spot as it scoped up shark after shark. So far, it had caught three that it was raising in the air as if it was playing with it. “Don’t you dare put them in your mouth!” Byron ordered and the Kraken paused. It’s reptilian eyes turned and studied its master before it dropped the sharks down none too gently from the same height that it was carrying them. And then, Byron pointed a finger at him. “Good. Now it is time for you to go back before any of the surface dwellers sees you.”
