Not sexy to me, unless you are the Rock! And yet, I was just looking around and I had no intention whatsoever of talking to anyone around here ever. Too shy, too cowardly, too low self-esteem... or all of the above. In my story though, The Rush, my main male character was like that... like the one I was looking at doing push-ups with such ease. Damn, those arms. I kindly reminded myself not to look intensely at his moving muscles under his red sleeveless T-shirt and tight black shorts... it wasn't polite.

More students join the fray, peppering him with an avalanche of questions. Studying his features, I notice he’s more handsome than Tyler (in my opinion, anyway). If I had to guess, I’d think he was the alpha. His dark brown hair contrasts sharply with his lighter skin tone, and he exudes a dark, intimidating aura that’s… unnerving. Definitely not someone I’d want to cross. What’s a story without a broody, mysterious male character? I play with the phone in my other hand as I wait for the phone to vibrate. My legs start bouncing on their own. I frown and look under the table.

I was speechless. 'Ah, I forgot about that.' The book I was reading was called 《The Male Lead's Lover》. It was a story filled with crappy cliché, and I also don’t know what I ate to read that kind of book. Maybe I was momentarily out of my mind and bought that book in the bookstore, or maybe I was asleep as I picked that book on the shelf.

All of this was because of Theo who was sleeping. What is up with his attitude? Who behaves like that? At least the male protagonists in romance novels don’t act as such. They are sweeter when they have the FL in their grasp. And here is Theo who claims to love her and yet, is treating her as if she is an inconvenience.

Fantasy. I can fantasize all day long about having a big strong man, sweep me off my feet. Love, honor and cherish me and my kids till our last days. But there is just no way that is real. Plus, this particular book reminds me of my life with my ex husband. The villain vampire Samael.. Manipulative, controlling, excessive, and has a temper. Talon. Always reminded me of Samael. He was mean. Degrading. Abusive. Manipulative. And most importantly evil.

I head down as the butler leaves, closing the door behind him. I can’t help but look around. This must be Tobias’s space. It smells strongly of his rich coffee and leather scent, a scent so masculine it’s almost embarrassing to every other male I know. Tobias is just the epitome of alpha male. Minus the cuntiness so many of them, like my father, possess.

Butt naked. I took a good look at him. He looked even better than I had imagined. His body was amazing and I understood why so many girls had wanted to have sex with him. His abs, his chest, his dick. Wow. He truly was an Alpha male. I stared way too long, until Ari spoke. I read the title, and I shook my head. “That’s a series, nakita ko yung trailer but I never watch it,” I tell him. He waves it in my face, “Let’s watch this, and let’s dress up like them when Halloween comes” he grins at me. I looked at him dumbfounded before taking the book in his hands and opening it. My eyes widened when I saw a book. “What kind of book is this?” I almost let out a curse when I saw the cover of one book in that section. On the cover there was two men almost hugging each other only wearing their underwears. “Secret to longer homosexual relationships, Male edition,” I read the title out loud. I can't believe with my two eyes that there was a section like this in a bookstore. Am I that innocent to know about what is this?
