The last thing I needed was to bump into another living soul. Unfortunately, I was in no mood to read so I wound up staring at the book shelves. I shrugged and pulled my ear buds out of my skirt pocket. Yes, I carried them everywhere I went. It was like they were attached to me spiritually. I checked the songs on my phone before settling on the song I wanted to play: Home by Machine Gun Kelly featuring X Ambassadors and Bebe Rexha. That was one hit song. Before I knew it, I was already calm and swaying my hips. I was even singing along.

With much hope and anticipation, I'm here to say it has officially begun 😁 I wanted to use blues music for this entire book but unfortunately the past was filled with more love than hate 😒😒 so the book goes on music-less but if you feel you have any song that suits the chapter please endeavor to comment. I know I said I'll wait till I have at least nineteen chapters up but I swear I tried!! I was just too impatient... 😔

Right now I was holding one of my torn posters of the band Eminem and looking at it like it had fleas. “Cute.” she lied, suppressing a grimace of displeasure. I shook my head laughing, “They're not that loud, you should listen to them.” “Someday, honey, someday.” “Why wait when I can play you a song right now.” I took out my cell phone entering my library, briefly reading the titles. “No need, I have all the time to hear them later.” “The future is uncertain and life is inconsistent. It's now or never." I pressed Robbers by The 1975, the rhythmic musical notes were heard relaxing the atmosphere. Although that group was not one of my favorites, but I loved their enveloping melodies.

This time, I wasn’t going to be like my Dad, and I proved that by picking out two books, one on musical instruments and the other on art. I sat with Keren beside a rounded table and placed the open illustrated art textbook in front of her, whilst I began scrolling through the pages of one of my favorite books Tales of Music and the Brain. Memories emerged as I scrolled on, page after page, as I began to reflect on my past, present and possible future.

A desk sat over in the corner that held music sheet paper, quill and ink pods, a schedule book, and rows of music books. “It’s stunning up here,” I was in awe. Apollo tied his hair and grabbed a music book off the table, “Thank you, I guess you can say this is my sanctuary.” “It certainly is,” I sat in the vintage armchair, “So, what are you going to perform?” He flipped through the pages, “Beethoven - Cello Sonata No. 3 in A major.” “That’s a beautiful piece,” I crossed my arms, “But, don’t you want to wow them?”
