Ethan put a ton of bucatini all amatriciana into the plate before Debra. Taking a gander at the hot and spicy food with new smell stacked up before them, Debra obscured her face. "Umm... Thanks" Debra started to eat slowly. It tasted great, however it was simply too spicy for her to such an extent that she felt her lips and tongue were not hers any longer.

Iris said. "Non-spicy," Jason remarked, glancing at her. The waiter asked, "Which one is it?" "Non-spicy," Jason instructed firmly. Iris, thinking Jason couldn’t handle spicy food, said to the waiter, "Non-spicy it is." After the waiter left, Iris commented, "Eating barbecue without spice is missing half the taste." "Spicy food is bad for your wound," Jason replied casually. Iris was taken aback. She had assumed Jason didn’t want it spicy due to personal preference, but it turned out he was concerned about her.

''Oh my God, was it that horrible? He held up a finger as he down his glass of wine, then start chugging down mine. ''Are you ok?'' ''Why is it so spicy?'' ''Oh, because I made spicy chicken and broccoli stir-fry.'' I smiled. Jasper gagged. ''I don't normally eat my food with this much kick to it.'' "Sorry.'' Jasper held up a hand. “It's good. Just never expected it to be so spicy." "Are you only saying that to not hurt my feelings?"

I didn’t need to start mourning his departure just yet. I walked into the crowd, stopping at different shops to get things. I got to a stall where they sold tteokbokki, a Korean snack. I requested a spicy plate and stood in front of the stall waiting for the man to give me my portion. I first had this with Marcus during our trip to South Korea. Marcus was a foodie; it was one of the many sides of him I discovered during our time together. He loves spicy food, and I had been so scared to try it and had spat out my first bite, unable to stomach how spicy it was.

Chris looked at Paige and said, "What do you want to eat? I'll have the kitchen make it for you." Paige thought for a moment. She did not know what she wanted to eat but had a strong desire for something specific. Tina smiled and asked, "Paige, are you craving something spicy?" "Spicy?" Tina nodded with a smile. "Yes, when I was pregnant with Mia, I especially liked spicy food." As superstition stated, spicy food for girls and sour foods for boys. Paige remained silent. “However, this time, I’m loving sour foods,” Tina continued.

I bit my finger, staring at the selection. "Well, let's see. The Rogan Josh is mild, the Vindaloo is spicier. Tikka Masala, of course, that's pretty standard." "I think I want the spicy one." "The spicy one it is." I grabbed one of the jars of Vindaloo Sauce and dropped it into the basket I was carrying. "I have rice at home, do we need anything else?" "Seriously? Wine, of course. Silly girl." I giggled and we headed over toward that section of the store.

I could feel my nipples tightening from the cool air and the intensity rolling off him in waves. My mind screamed danger, but my body… God, my body was reacting like a traitor, heat rushing through me. “Let go of me,” I whispered, but it came out breathier than I wanted. His thumb brushed my lower lip, rough and calloused. For a split second his eyes darkened, dropping to my mouth before snapping back up. “You’ve got fire. Good. You’re gonna need it here.” One of the other bikers laughed from the corner. “She’s shaking like a leaf, Prez. Maybe she needs warming up.”

This establishment specialized in preparing a range of deluxe seafood dishes. "Would you be interested in Salt-baked Sea Bass and Cioppino?" Dominic inquired. "That sounds good, as long as it's extra spicy," Kathy teased Dominic with a mischievous smile. Dominic couldn't handle spicy food. Whenever Kathy prepared something spicy at home, he would steer clear of it. Now, Kathy claimed she only preferred heavily spiced and fiery red soup, evidently trying to challenge Dominic. Dominic's expression hardened, and he whispered, "No room for compromise, not even a little bit?"

Chapter 4 “So do you like spicy food too?” he asked her. “I do eat spicy foods from time to time but I don’t crave spicy food like you. My mother has acid reflux so we can’t really eat too much spicy food at home. But when I was in college my friends and I always went to Korean restaurants and ate Korean barbecues and other spicy foods. Ahh! I remember those days! It was very delicious” she laughed while telling him this.

“AAAAH! IT’S SO SPICY!” His eyes widened in shock. “Wait—water!” He immediately handed me his bottled water. I gulped it down like my life depended on it, fanning my mouth as tears welled in my eyes. “Why is it so spicy?! But… oh my gosh, it’s actually good. Like, painful but delicious.” He looked half-concerned, half-amused. “Are you okay? I didn’t mean to give you the spicy one.” “I’m fine,” I coughed, still fanning my mouth. “It burns… but it’s weirdly addictive.”
