Entangled With The Bad Boy
I step into his room, my pulse hammering so hard I swear my heart might burst out of my chest.
“Zade,” I say.
He’s slumped in a chair, eyes locked on a book splayed open on his desk. This is how I know my brother’s really pissed. Zade doesn’t give a damn about books, I’m the reader in the family. But when he’s mad, he pulls this stunt and grabs any random book and flips through it like he’s trying to tear the pages apart with his glare.
“Zade,” I repeat, louder this time.
Zade lifts his shoulder in a half shrug and turns to face me, his eyes still cold as ice. “What, your boyfriend’s not still in your room, half-naked, waiting for you to crawl back to him?” he snaps.
