Novel & Cerita Borrowing Library Books On Kindle

"That is what they are for, Jennifer. To read them is not merely allowed but actively encouraged." "Can I take some of them to the farm to read? Will anyone mind?" The old man frowns. "To borrow the books, you have them stamped to your ticket, but you may borrow as many as you wish. Simply bring them back when you are finished and then you can take some others." He hesitates. "Jennifer, have you never seen a library before?" Her eyes are alive and a smile dances across her face. "We had one in my old school, but it wasn't like this...."

Again. She had left her computer on, so it only took me a moment to log onto the law firm computer system to check the status of the book. It was checked out in my name. I had no idea how she even had my account number, but she had been using it for a while. She had not only taken two reserved books that weren't supposed to leave the library, but four others that were due at the end of the day. If Alexa didn't return them on time, which considering she wasn't even here to deliver her own files, I was the one who was going to get busted. I wouldn't qualify for even a cost of living raise with that on my head.

he began. "The job requirements and duties are quite easy. Like you already know the library opens up by 8:30 am. I'll provide your own access to the library laptop and wifi. When anyone borrows a book, you enter it into the borrowed register. You take the down the person's name, phone number, the book title and the amount of days they intend to borrow it for. You following?" "Yeah....yeah, I'm following," I nodded repeatedly. "But I want to ask though, is there like a fine for anyone who returns their books later than the expected return date?"

And luckily, both didn't question much and did it for Roy anyway. "Here young man." The Store Keeper pointed at a row in the log. "Write your name, address, phone number and the date you wish to return. You can borrow the book for a maximum of fifteen days. If it's not enough, then come by and extend it." Roy glanced at Jeremy for a second and found him leaning on the counter with his always smiley face. Once again, Roy's heart skipped irregularly and a burst of warmth crept up on his face.

Somehow, I felt Mom wouldn’t be thrilled by the news. "I’d like to rest for a bit now, but tell me… could you do me a favor? Before the accident, I borrowed several books from the library, and they were due back a few days ago. I’ve already finished them, and something new wouldn’t hurt. Your father doesn’t have time for that — he neglected these responsibilities for too long." "You want me to go?" "If you don’t mind." How could I mind when someone I loved was asking? I picked up the books, knowing I’d have to pay a small fine. It was a shame the library didn’t take into account situations when a reader couldn’t return books due to health issues.

I tilt my head, watching her face fall. “It seems like all of the books you are looking for aren't here,” she sighs as if something big happened. She bites her lower lip, contemplating. “I have three of the books. I’m lending them to you. Please return them to me before next week. Otherwise, it will be overdue and I’ll be fined.” She slithers to the nearest table without waiting for my response and flops her bag on it. The next moment, three monster-sized books come out of her bag.

“I don’t know. We just picked random books from upcoming authors.” “can I borrow it?” I cursed myself in my head. Hadn’t I sworn that I’d never read her book? What the hell was I about to do now. “sure.” She gave me a strange look. Probably wondering why a billionaire couldn’t go get his own book copy. But I knew that I could never get myself to actually buy it for myself. This way, it didn’t feel like I was going through my promise. Or at least, that’s what I told myself.

I said firmly as I closed the book and glared at the smug man. "You can take it with you and finish it if you like," he said softly and I nodded, tucking the book against my lopsided chest as I thanked him. I opened it back up to find my spot and saw a decorative piece of long paper being handed to me. I glanced up at the Alpha shaking the item. "It's a bookmark. Please don't dogear the pages. Also, if you enjoy books I have a library where you may get books to borrow," he said softly and I plucked the bookmark from his fingers and told him thanks. I looked around the room and back at the Alpha.

I just made it for you. Elias knocked the thermos out of her hands. Scalding soup splattered across the floor. "Where's the money? I told you to borrow money! Did you get any?" he screamed hysterically. Claire stumbled back a step, tears streaming down her face. "I tried everywhere. Nobody would lend us anything." "Useless! All of you are useless!" Elias grabbed his pillow and hurled it to the floor. "What am I supposed to do now? Just wait to die? Is that it?"

Immediately, bank statements and notarized documents appeared on the wall across from us. "Elliot's monthly salary is five grand. After deducting his own expenses, he only transfers 500 dollars into the household account every month. Meanwhile, the monthly property management fee for the house you live in is 1.2 thousand dollars. Even the car he drives was paid for in full by me." I pointed at the notarized document on the screen. "This is the prenuptial property notarization we signed before marriage. Elliot has no assets under his name. As for your claim that I'm fooling around with other men…"
