She wrinkled her nose as she took in the state of our clothes. “I am Neva, Queen of the Ivory Court of Fae. Who might you be?”

We started to head forward again and I couldn't help but look back at how different the elves were to the other kingdoms. They were all fighters and hunted their own food. I don't see shops selling goods anywhere.

Another set of escorts came to us. These set were taller elves, with blonde hair. They appeared more polished and stunning. Mum took my hands as we followed them cautiously.

I look at my clock and see I have 10 minutes left so I put on my shoes and texted Derric that I will be waiting for them in the lobby. We have arrived at the royal castle 10 minutes early. After they announced us we walked into the hall. We start mingling with the other werewolves that are present. Mostly all the unmated supernatural are present except for the Alpha, Beta, and third in command couples. We have to be here no exception. I look around hoping to find someone that looks interesting to talk to. I see a young fairy walking towards me. "Hi, my name is Celia. I'm the sister of the fairy queen."

Dancers moved into the center of the hall, their movements like fire. The celebration had begun. Elder Thalos raised a silver goblet and addressed the crowd. “To Queen Aliyah. May her reign be long, her heart unshaken, and her bond with the Pack unbreakable.” Everyone raised their cups and drank deeply.

Gesturing to the woman behind him, I watched her curtsy to me. "What are you?" I whispered. A small chuckle left the Queen's lips. "I'm sure you have read about us in the scrolls, Abagail." Looking at their features I thought about all the books I had ever read. Their skin was almost as white as snow, their hair all blonde. Eyes as blue as the sky and their ears-. Gasping in shock, I froze. "Elves?" Nodding, King Arod bowed once again. "That's right... we are the last remaining Elves on this earth."
