THE STING OF THE VAMPIRE'S BITE
The gruesome sight of their prey, lifeless and limp, sickened me.
As I landed, the vampires halted their gruesome feast, their heads snapping in my direction. I could see the numbers: innocent people sprawled across the ground, some already dead, while others gasped for breath, huddled together in terror. A few of them had wet themselves in fear, the stench of urine mingling with the metallic scent of blood.
“King Draven,” their leader sneered, a sickly grin stretching across his face. “What brings you to our little feast?”
