Brave Mor'du Human Novels & Stories

He looked down at himself, or at least, his consciousness, and saw hands and feet, but they were translucent, like a ghost. And then, he saw them. In a clearing in the middle of the forest, a group of humans clad in leather and rough cloth gathered around a massive bonfire. They cheered and sang in a language he didn’t understand. But one figure caught his attention. He was taller than the others, muscular, with curly black hair cascading to his shoulders. He wore a necklace of animal claws and teeth. As he danced near the fire, his movements possessed an agility and power that left Siron stunned. The face… that face was Morat’s. But not the Morat he knew. This was a Morat who was alive, bre

But hopefully, this would just be the standard, run-of-the-mill, confused rogue. We followed the scent to a rocky hill that turned into a mountain, continuing up some rugged terrain. We dug our sharp claws into the stone, making our way up quickly and efficiently, stopping at a plateau partway up. Resting on the ledge, looking over the forested land, was a she-wolf with thick, dark-brown fur and icy-blue eyes. The three of us instantly surrounded her as she got up onto her four legs, turning to face us. She slowly moved her head, making eye contact with each of us one by one, her face emotionless.

Though frail in body, Thora’s stance was unshaken, her resolve unwavering. With a lazy flick of her wrist, Heratte ordered the monstrous beasts to retreat. Their snarls faded into the night as she shrugged, looking at Thora with feigned boredom. “And tell me, old woman—who exactly is going to stop me? Without an obeisance, he continued. “Alpha, there’s an unforeseen attack from the outside this morning. Some of our soldiers were slaughtered,” he informed, trembling. Drake’s forehead knitted. He looks livid and ready to kill someone mercilessly. “Who the fuck are they?” “Humans, Alpha,” Beta Dillon answered. Drake balled his fists; his face became expressionless. “Are you sure about that? Don’t you know the rouge actions lately? They’re quiet and not attacking anymore after the last encounter with them.”

It was Dimitri Volkov. Alpha of the Black Fang Pack. Pakhan of the Volkov Bratva. The monster whispered about by wolves and humans alike. He stopped in front of the table. “Why is there a girl on my floor?” One of the men cleared his throat. “Ivan Morozov brought her as partial payment.”
