A single sentence appeared. “THE FIRST DAUGHTER HAS AWAKENED.” Another line appeared. “THE FIRST MOTHER HAS REMEMBERED.” Then: “THE FIRST FATHER IS RETURNING.”

Zaviers hand went to his shoulder right when he went to stand up. I quickly turned around and power walked to the book because I could feel the need radiating off of him. Blake was looking at me with a soft smile that had me smiling more. I quickly looked throught the pages until I stopped on the page that read. 'Broken souls.' I wouldve been confused if I hadnt passed soul breaker a few pages back. I rubbed my hand over the page and watched as a gold ribbon slowly came out of the book. The ribbon twirled around Blake in a graceful manner. The ribbon slowly attacted itself to his body. "I cant move." Blakes panicked tone had me praying that this was right.

The new book she was working on was titled ‘Broken Soul’, a romance book. She typed words until her phone rang again. She pressed accept. “Hey..” “I’m back..” She heard rustling from his side. “You’re drying your hair.” “Yep..” A smile hung on her lips. It was only this morning when she held back her feelings for him. Now that everything is clear, she finally was able to talk freely with him. “Dawn.. I was wondering..” “What is it?” “Have you started writing novels?” He asked. He had been suspecting that the book he received from Dawn was made by her.

I try again to mind link him with no answer. I hear footsteps down the hall coming towards my door. I quickly stand as tall as possible, which is hard because I am so tired and my legs barely hold me up anymore. I have to though; I refuse to show him any sign of weakness. The door opens and in walks Shane, his signature smirk and a rose. He must know for sure now that she was lying. “It has your name in it. It is yours, right?” She nodded, surveying it. It was all there. She had forgotten about it. “There were some loose pages. I gathered them all up and put them back in. I hope I got them all,” he said. “You did,” she said softly, touched, embarrassed. “I followed the trail of pages, and the funny thing is….they lead me down the alley.” She continued to look down at the book, refusing to make eye contact.

Nora I watch anxiously from my window as the sun blooms on the horizon, golden petals stretching ever onwards into the rich blue. It is a brilliant flower that is to warm our days, an invitation to a new start, one I worry about. For two days I have watched the sunrise and fall with no news from Flavius and Neron. I am beginning to think that maybe it was not right of me to involve outsiders in my matters. After all my request has done nothing but disrupt Flavius’s life. I accidentally called the archive. That, followed by a beep signaling the end of call. I mean, after two months I'm not surprised I get paid just to watch over harmless books like a guardian. I'm just really surprised a phone call finally came through—-it means they know I exist, I guess. I bring out my lunch from my bag to eat. After eating, I walk to one of the bookshelves on the right. The books, files...everything screams 'business.' I shake my head and my eyes land on the stash of files and numbered boxes lying in the far end.
