Breath Of The Moon Novels & Stories

Drake Calloway still picked on me, followed by cold laughter from the other boy and the wolf. “Stop it, Drake.” Nathan came between us. “Why don’t we all go to the spring? I heard the Moon Goddess sometimes appears in the Full Moon.” “You still believe that bedtime story?” Bryan Waltz, the one with curly hair, chuckled. He patted the wolf next to him. “I think even Elliott no longer believes it—and he’s only ten.”

He consented. “Do you know how to contact the Moon Goddess?” I questioned. “Uh… No…” Brett said as I had just asked him an obvious question. “There is a way essentially, but not until the night of the full moon.” Caleb interjected. “Okay, so is there anything else I need to know?” I requested, both Brett and Caleb. “Not that I know of.” Brett replied. “Well…” Caleb began, looking between Brett and me.

The 6 stones were covered in petals. WE BLEED TOGETHER WE CHOOSE ANYWAY WE REMEMBER WE CHOOSE FOREVER WE CHOOSE BOTH WE CHOOSE TO REMEMBER She touched each one. Petals fell from her fingers. The sky pulsed. One moon dipped low. Pink with a white edge. Like Luna’s original moon. “It’s the first one,” Aria whispered. “The sky kept it.” Wolves gathered below. 100,000 of them. Looking up. The moon pulsed once. Then spoke. Not with sound. With memory.

My sister isn’t afraid of her and she knows that our bloodline is clearly strong enough to equal the leaders if I was the Goddess-chosen future Luna. With that thought, I smile and step out of the front door. My first stop will be the elementary school, my favorite place.

The air in the Maw didn’t just grow cold, it became thin, as if the mountain itself were gasping, outside, the Blood Moon had reached its zenith, casting a bruised, rhythmic crimson light through every fissure and vent in the stone, it wasn't just a celestial event, it was a cosmic siphon, Kaelen was using the Lunar Cult’s forbidden Tides to pull the child toward the surface, dragging the heir out of the dark before it was ready to be born.

I held him, and the throbbing discomfort between my legs faded. He slowly opened his eyes. "Zara, my love." The Moon, once obscured by the Earth's shadow, begins to emerge, casting a soft, silvery glow that bathes our naked bodies in an otherworldly light. The air feels crisp and refreshing against my skin, carrying a faint, mystical fragrance of pine needles and Earth, intensified by the lunar spell.

"Whispers of the Mystic Moon" The moon hung high in the night sky, casting its silvery glow upon Luna's determined figure as she stood before Alpha Burst. Her decision to travel to Blackmoon, driven by a sense of responsibility and a connection to the mystical forces that governed their realms, unfolded in the quietude of their shared space.

“Rest is for those who’ve earned peace. You haven’t.” She finally faced her, eyes sharp. “Today, we move beyond breathing. You’ll learn to channel.” Elise nodded, though her stomach knotted. “Channel what exactly?” “The moon’s current,” Teagan said, lowering her sword. “Energy flows through all things — but the Moonbreathers are conduits. You’ll draw it in, let it merge with your motion, and release it. If you fail…” She tapped the hilt against the stone. “It will burn you from within.”

The full moon shone brightly in the night sky, casting a mesmerizing silvery glow across the land. Alpha Galan, stood at the edge of a cliff, his keen eyes fixed on the radiant lunar sphere. It was on this sacred night that he could call upon Selene, the moon goddess, his mother, and the divine being who bestowed him with his extraordinary abilities. As the moonlight reached its peak, a celestial aura enveloped Alpha Galan, and he felt a surge of power coursing through his veins. He raised his arms to the heavens, calling out to his mother, the moon goddess, with a melodic incantation passed down through generations:

Then he extends his left arm through the bars for me to hold and bring to my lips, I hover above the inside of his forearm, waiting for our lunas signal, she nods and we say the final words together. "With this mark, I ..." But before either one of us can finish the final vow, a bright light pours through the tiny window, somehow filling the room, we all freeze, bathing in it. "A blue moon," Kay whispers in awe, staring into it and then back at us. "A blue moon bond!" She gasps, "Oh, thank you goddess," she praises. "Luna? What's happening?" I ask, unmoving.
