He picked up the bags and walked toward the lounge. The hallway was quiet, the hotel peaceful at this late hour. When he pushed open the lounge door, he found Janet sitting on the couch with her laptop, her face illuminated by the blue glow of the screen.
Jackson dropped the food bags on the coffee table. "What are you doing?"
"Working on Freelancer. I got a job to create a website for a small bookstore," Janet replied without looking up from her screen.
