Because now I was confused. Now I was trying to remember if he even looked like me. Or if we shared any kind of resemblance. Or maybe this was some mafia coded metaphor. “Brother” in that loyal and blood oath way. But no. He clarified still calm and still watching me like he was bracing himself for me to explode. “I’m your stepbrother. Your dad I mean your real dad, he’s my father. We share him but we have different mothers.” He added like that softened it.

We were in their territory and it's weird for them to hear a man calling me an Alpha. "My apologies, may I know if you want him here, sir?" he asked. I scowled and let out a deep sigh, looked like I had no choice after all, "let him in," I commanded and he obeyed immediately, then after a few minutes, my brother came in from the front of the door, thumbs in his pockets, wearing a long mischievous smile and staring at me as he closed the door behind him using his feet, kicking it from behind him.

IT was Saturday, everything seemed peaceful inside the manor but I can sense the heavy atmosphere lingering around Brother. He was all alone in his study, working like a machine gun to finish all his duties. I'm really worried for him. I didn't tell him about what happened during the night of the Cultural Sports Festival, I don't want to complicate things even further when he's already eating more than he can chew. My Brother puts his family, the organization and the country first before himself. I really admire him a lot, he's not the perfect person but he's trying to be. He carries a lot of burden and I really wanna help him by shutting down that d*mn organization.

He wipes a tear with his finger and I roll my eyes. Drama king. "I know most of you think I hate my brother," he continues , "but I don't. Infact, my fight with him at my engagement party was because of her." I frown. Where is this headed? He stares into the camera, "Sara Jane is a manipulative liar and schemer and today I come out to free myself from her treacherous web and also pull the wool from my brother's eyes. Today," He pauses. "I come out to say that she," his eyes bores into the camera, peering at me like he was there with me in the room.

I made it clear to him, and the smile which was plastered on his face disappeared slowly. "There is nothing funny about this—" I interrupted him "It's not funny. It's just unbelievable—" He inhaled sharply, his hands ruffling his dark wavy hair. "There is nothing wrong with being in love with me." He continued. "There is nothing wrong with being in love with you?" "He is my adopted brother and not even my real brother." He answered. "I want to stay alone till I figure out things. I really hope you will be able to understand that decision, which I have made." I relaxed. I felt way better after letting it all out.

"DO YOU THINK I WANT YOU HERE? I FUCKING DON'T" Christopher shouted on top of his voice scaring Serena with his tone yet again. He was raging, raging like a bull at this point. He wasn't even sure about what he was talking anymore. He was not even in his senses now, while more hurt was she when she heard his next words. "YOU ARE NOTHING BUT A BURDEN TO EVERYONE. NO WONDER WHY MY BROTHER LEFT YOU, WHO WOULD TOLERATE A WOMAN AS FAKE AS YOU!"

Fuck. I peer down seeing my brother suffocate on his own blood as his pulse slows. “Brother … what have you done?” I choke out the words as he coughs and splutters on the floor. The fact my brother is even alive is because he is a hybrid. “Couldn’t let you die, what are big brothers for?” he banters even at this time he still has his humour.

Nyra stared at the screen blankly for a few seconds before raising an eyebrow, “Why am I looking at a picture of Professor Moore?” Elara turned her head sharply to her friend, tears pooling in her eyes, “That's my brother” Nyra inhaled loudly, the sound harsh in the quiet of the room, like she’d been punched in the chest. “What the fuck.”

Anna answered shortly and Brian smiled widely hearing it The three of us chatted for a while and I saw Damian walk toward us. I got up from my chair and gave him a hug. “Once again, congrats brother!” I patted his shoulder “Thanks Fai! I won’t be here without you! Brian and Anna too, thanks!”
