“May I?” She stares for a moment before sighing, handing him the notebook as she mumbles, “If you must.” Blaze hums as he flips through the empty pages. “I see what you mean.” “Pardon?” “You’ve not many- or any ideas in here.” He observes. “Why is that?” “Because I’ve no idea what ideas to put in there.” She says. “I’m not even sure if I know what a bucket list really is.” “It’s a list of everything you’ve ever wanted to experience.” Blaze shrugs. “What’s so complicated about that?”

“Here, this is my graduation gift to you,” Judah took the notebook with a puzzled look on his face. “What’s this?” I just smiled at him as he started opening the book and reading the first few pages. “It’s a bucket list, all the things I wanna do before we leave for California,” I explained. I waited to see his reaction, and his eyes were busy scanning the pages. “I wanna make more memories with you, Judah. No, I wanna make all the memories with you,” A big smile was forming on his face. There was a glint of excitement and surprise in his eyes. “Blondie, some of the things here are pretty damn crazy. Are you sure about this?”

"She's already filled the space she's got and she's storing them in here." Swigging at the beer, I prise off a lid, looking at a couple of titles. Turn Right at Machu Picchu, Mark Adams... Lands of Lost Borders: A Journey on the Silk Road, Kate Harris... The Innocents Abroad, Mark Twain... A whole stack of Bill Bryson titles... Bit of a theme going on there. Wonder if she wants to travel? Get back to the point... "Michael, I mean no offence, but I have to say this. I know they are your family, but you need to keep those dried-up harpies you call aunts either under control or away from Charlotte.

Chapter 7 - We all have a kinky inner demon. ~~ My bucket list was made when I was drunk for the first and last time in sophomore year. Everything written in it was rebellious and dangerous and completely of my brains. Safe to say I had hardly completed any of it. For two years it was kept it in some dark corner of my locker but it probably isn't there now because the person standing in front of me was waving it in the air happily like it was a country flag.

When we asked around at the hotels near the tourist area, we learned that almost everything was already fully booked. There was only one room left. Shanine immediately became unhappy. "Just book it. If we wait any longer, even that will be gone!" After listening to her complain all day, my mood for sightseeing had nearly vanished. Thankfully, Phoebe was much more understanding. "Richard, it's okay if we squeeze in together for one night." Suddenly, an idea flashed through my mind, and I immediately booked the room. "Finally! We can rest now," she said with a sigh.

When my shift ended, I found myself walking toward the corner table where Kael sat, his laptop closed now, a book in his hands. I stopped short when I saw the cover. ‘Knot We Cannot Untie.’ That was the book he was holding. I can't believe that Kael would be reading one of Linda Lively’s books. “You read… this?” I said, the surprise evidently in my voice. Kael looked up, one brow raised. “Why? You think I only read racing magazines and bank statements?” I gave a small laugh. “Chill bro. It’s just… not what I was expecting ”

I want to visit her, soon. I glanced at Tim who's now writing his bucket list. “Why do you want to make me cry?” he asked while his focus is still on his paper.

She hugged me with all means of love and care. “It’s ok, mom. Love makes us strong. Daddy and I love you a lot.” I continued to struggle to read, but that angel had already slept. It was already over thirty minutes before I finished the first page. I placed the book aside and picked up her journal, and I never expected the list of her bucket list to be so beautifully written. She wanted to go to school and celebrate her birthday in the water world.

"But how is this diary supposed to help us find Felicity?" Sarah asked, her voice still tinged with anger. "I've had my people searching for her for weeks, and we've come up empty-handed. What makes you think, this tattered book will find her when we couldn't?" Joseph took a deep breath, trying to gather his thoughts. "This is her old diary, it has the list of countries on her bucket list she hoped to visit”. He said

“I understand. You can tell her when you're ready, but you know she'll find out sooner or later. I can only say this, Quinn: make good use of your time. Make every single day meaningful. Do everything you want to do. Make a bucket list if you have to.” “A bucket list?” I raised a brow, the term feeling absurd and cliché. “Yes, Quinn. A bucket list. Of all the things you want to do, starting from the most important to the least important.” I nodded shakily, my mind already starting to whirl, grasping for something, anything, to focus on besides the void. What did I really want? Who did I really want? ****
