"You have some interesting dreams, little one." My stomach twisted. I snatched at the book again, but he was taller, and I was still too weak to fight properly. It was a book containing my bucket lists, and it was meant to be private. Only Claire and I knew the contents of each other's bucket lists. Thankfully, from what I saw, he hadn't gone past the third page. "Kester, I swear to—" "Okay, okay," he chuckled, holding up his hands in mock surrender. He lowered the book, handing it to me with a smirk that made my skin prickle.

“Here, this is my graduation gift to you,” Judah took the notebook with a puzzled look on his face. “What’s this?” I just smiled at him as he started opening the book and reading the first few pages. “It’s a bucket list, all the things I wanna do before we leave for California,” I explained. I waited to see his reaction, and his eyes were busy scanning the pages. “I wanna make more memories with you, Judah. No, I wanna make all the memories with you,” A big smile was forming on his face. There was a glint of excitement and surprise in his eyes. “Blondie, some of the things here are pretty damn crazy. Are you sure about this?”

"The elevator is about to drop and you'll fe–" "What?" I didn't realize the panicked voice was mine until he shook me again. Tears form in my eyes and I'm already thinking of my will that I've never written, if I ever get out of this alive then that will be the first thing I do. I want all my books donated to charity because no one in my family will read them, maybe Drea would read the spicy ones but that is about it. I start checking off things I've not done in my whole nineteen years of life, I haven't even written a damn bucket list, okay I'm going to do that too.

"She's already filled the space she's got and she's storing them in here." Swigging at the beer, I prise off a lid, looking at a couple of titles. Turn Right at Machu Picchu, Mark Adams... Lands of Lost Borders: A Journey on the Silk Road, Kate Harris... The Innocents Abroad, Mark Twain... A whole stack of Bill Bryson titles... Bit of a theme going on there. Wonder if she wants to travel? Get back to the point... "Michael, I mean no offence, but I have to say this. I know they are your family, but you need to keep those dried-up harpies you call aunts either under control or away from Charlotte.

When we asked around at the hotels near the tourist area, we learned that almost everything was already fully booked. There was only one room left. Shanine immediately became unhappy. "Just book it. If we wait any longer, even that will be gone!" After listening to her complain all day, my mood for sightseeing had nearly vanished. Thankfully, Phoebe was much more understanding. "Richard, it's okay if we squeeze in together for one night." Suddenly, an idea flashed through my mind, and I immediately booked the room. "Finally! We can rest now," she said with a sigh.

“This is our bucket list,” said Dizen and he was like very excited on what they will do. Just by looking at the list, he has now having a picture on what tomorrow will look like. “Yeah, so this is the first task we are going to do?” asked Eli and she was pointing her index finger on the first thing listed on their list. “Yeah.” Dizen nodded his head with a smile. Eli looked up as if she was thinking of something. “Mountain climbing,” she said while gently rubbing her chin.

When my shift ended, I found myself walking toward the corner table where Kael sat, his laptop closed now, a book in his hands. I stopped short when I saw the cover. ‘Knot We Cannot Untie.’ That was the book he was holding. I can't believe that Kael would be reading one of Linda Lively’s books. “You read… this?” I said, the surprise evidently in my voice. Kael looked up, one brow raised. “Why? You think I only read racing magazines and bank statements?” I gave a small laugh. “Chill bro. It’s just… not what I was expecting ”

She stuttered in a mild tone. "That's quite absurd, you still have bucket lists" I uttered knowing that it's been years I wrote a bucket list. A bucket list is like a number of wild things you love to do in a day, a week, a month or sometimes even a year. "For each month, it's an efficient piece of paper, it keeps track record of things you did and wild things you intend to do" She explained as she opened the door. "Who is this?"

I was trying not to let his mood ruin what Eli and I had just started. "Hey, I was going to show you something." I started. Eli gave me a quizzical look. "What is it?" With a smile, I reached over to the nightstand, picked up my old notebook, and opened it to a folded page. I finally showed him my full bucket list, sliding the paper over to his lap. Eli picked it up, reading through the lines. He went down the list of standard goals I'd written down over the years, but then his eyes stopped at the very last entry. I blushed furiously as I saw the surprised look on his face.
