The Darkside of the Moon

The Darkside of the Moon

“Why come to me with this? What’s in it for you?” Bucky’s gaze is unwavering. “They promised me retribution for Charmaine’s death. I agreed to their plans, but my loyalty to the pack and the city remains intact. I don’t wish to see your downfall, not at the cost of the city’s destruction. I want to help you stop this before it goes too far.” Wilson considers Bucky’s words, the complexity of the situation unfolding before him. He recognizes the value in Bucky’s intelligence but also understands the precarious nature of their alliance.

Alpha Braddock

Alpha Braddock

I gulp down my last bit of coffee, “let’s go.” He smiles as he pushes off the center island and nods, “yea, this is why I’m your Gamma, always thinking about strategy and tactical warfare.” Momma giggles at us and I narrow my eyes at her, she enters my mind, “be grateful he’s on our side.” I laugh as I walk out the door and he follows twirling the keys around his finger, I snatch them from him, “you got shotgun, it will give you time to eat your breakfast, you can drive on the way back,” I grin at him and he nods.

I have seriously binged this book all day and I'll be honest. It has some absolutely disgusting, things and twists. And yuck, but it's well written. The characters are amazing. And I love this alpha with her. I can't wait for more.

I am absolutely addicted so far and I can't even unlock chapter 13 .... I love how the writer gave each person's view on the things going on in each part of the book so far. I'll update my review once I've finished the whole book. I'll be praying ... another part 2 comes out after reading it all!!!

The Return of the War Legate

The Return of the War Legate

However, since he managed to return alive, the only person that met those criteria was Shaquille. Bucky nodded and tears began to stream down his face. He had just narrowly escaped death, and he would never forget that for the rest of his life. "Sir, if I hadn’t mentioned your name, Shaquille would probably have taken my life. I won't dare to act on my own again. Please forgive me!" "I don't really mind," Adrian said as he shrugged. Bucky had received his lesson, and Adrian believed he would not defy his orders again. "You're lucky that he was willing to let you go."

Alpha Wyatt

Alpha Wyatt

I nervously giggled. As we watch, the hours go by and wolves are seen guarding the perimeter. I look at one screen and notice those bright silver eyes, the same silver eyes that I had caught watching me shower from in my backyard. Those eyes belong to a bigger wolf than the others. A big, black wolf with silver eyes. “Jade, who is that?” I asked. “Well I guess you wouldn’t know yet, but that’s Alpha Wyatt” Jade replied. “That’s why he’s bigger than the others” I played it off.

Frequently Asked Questions

Bucky Barnes is one of those characters where the lines between human and superhuman blur fascinatingly. In the Marvel comics and the MCU, he's definitely enhanced beyond normal human limits, thanks to the Soviet version of the Super Soldier Serum and those brutal Hydra experiments. He doesn't have the exact same vibes as Steve Rogers—less 'boy scout idealism,' more 'winter-hardened assassin'—but his strength, reflexes, and durability are absolutely super-soldier tier. The MCU shows him catching Cap's shield mid-throw, surviving falls that'd splat regular folks, and brawling with enhanced opponents without instantly crumbling.

What I love about Bucky's portrayal is how his enhancements feel gritty and lived-in. Unlike Steve, whose abilities came with a shiny moral compass, Bucky's are tangled with trauma. His metal arm steals the spotlight, but his biological upgrades are just as crucial. Comics dive deeper into this—sometimes his serum's effects fluctuate, or writers emphasize the psychological toll. It's a reminder that 'super soldier' isn't just about punching harder; it's about surviving things that should break you, physically and otherwise.
