Vance’s guards were everywhere, but we knew the layout well enough to dodge most of them. The exit tunnel was our best chance. It led to a hidden garage on the surface where Vance kept emergency vehicles. We crept through the narrow passage, our footsteps soft on the concrete. My heart pounded so hard I worried the guards would hear it. The baby seemed to sense my fear and kicked harder. I whispered to my stomach, trying to stay calm. “We are getting out. Your father is taking us somewhere safe.”

So I start climbing the tree again and hope for the best. One of the higher branches gives way and I slam it it he side of the tree. “Fuck!” I whisper. My shoulder took the brunt of it but warmth trickling down my cheek let’s me know I’ve taken some of the stitches. I manage to find my window but when I closed it earlier, it locked. Shit! I move across the row until I find an open window. Bingo. ___________________________ Jared A cool breeze sweeps into the room as I’m brushing my teeth. Nick’s in some chicks room for the night so I don’t have to ask him if he doesn’t mind that I close the window. I just head over and begin to close it.

I just hope nothing bad happens to them. An hour later, Conrad got back bringing us good news. He found a better place compared to this abandoned house we are in. He found a bunker. Without any questions, the three of us agreed to move to the bunker. The abandoned house creaked eerily as Aiden and I carefully maneuvered through the dimly lit hallway. The floorboards moaned with every step, betraying our presence as we carried Penelope's unconscious body between us. Conrad's discovery of the bunker had brought a glimmer of hope, a potential haven for Penelope in her injured state. Sweat dripped down my brow as we moved cautiously, our breaths shallow and hearts pounding.

A fish jumped, spreading circles out around it’s landing. She kept her eyes on the water until they reached the other end of the bridge and all four men relaxed… for a short time until they realized they were approaching their home, and all became tense again with excitement. “Playroom?” Rhett asked, breaking the silence that had fallen within the cab. “Bunker,” Heath corrected. “Talen and I have discussed it, and if we do this, turn you and Cameron, now, we can’t be interrupted, not for any reason. So, the best thing is to go into the bunker, close the doors, and stay there.”

I said then we all smiled now. Later on me and Psyche have a happy life also Zachary with her girlfriend we just know. While Erah is also happy now for her self and lastly Nale and Aiya are now married. We made it to have a normal life and the Wood Creek town of us have a peaceful life but still a little crime. Yes, we may have escaped our suffering and pain in life but in the end we all know that we cannot escape death. Aisha was asking what I was doing in my mind. "I don't know," I shouted in anger. I ran towards the door and was trying to escape but was shocked when huge claws separated the metal. The kind of place where things went to sleep and didn’t wake up.

He did not even leave behind a note. I already knew where to go to find the answers I needed. I took out my phone and checked Elsa's Instagram. Sure enough, she had posted a picture of her injured arm with a caption that read, Got in an attack. After ten years, you are still the first thing on my mind. I knew all I needed to.
