I could still feel the heat, but what was odd was that the flames didn’t burn me. I lowered my hands slowly, looking at the book – now burning yet the pages were intact. My heart beat fast as I walked back to the podium. I blink, there was something new. I blinked again. I rubbed it, feeling the sting I had felt when Leah brought me to Neverwhere.

I barely get many reviews on the front page of the book so a review this poor would set me back so far. You can criticise the book without rating it poorly and if it’s that bad, don’t read it. I woke up sad and I haven’t stopped thinking about it. I consider stopping the book altogether (mean critiques get to me more than they should.) I am not saying this for my book alone. It applies to others as well. I kill myself to write and brush up on my chapters. I also don’t get paid to write on GN. I do it because I am committed, and love my readers here so much.
