The Peculiar Morass

The Peculiar Morass

"Let's do this right." They started and finished the chant that was written in the book. The smoke envelopes the room. When the smoke vanished, the rosemary appeared. This flower signifies remembrance, perhaps because it's said to enhance memory. It burst into pieces and lived on their skin. The small rosemary flower became a tattoo on the back of their ears. "Now, we just have to trust the process and wait for the new moon."

Mi Alfa (The Possessive Alphas Series 1)

Mi Alfa (The Possessive Alphas Series 1)

Louise, their head omega looked puzzled. "Blood roses… do you think that's actual?" "Most likely symbolic," replied the Pope before Mikael could. "Red roses can symbolize beauty or temptation, but blood… death." Cairan folded his arms. "So, an enemy who cloaks himself in beauty." "Or love," Olgana said quietly. They all turned to her. "The prophecy didn't say just about war. It said about longing. Two halves wanting to be made whole. That could mean a reunion or a devastation that starts because of it."

His Fragile Flame

His Fragile Flame

He looked down at his hand, a smile crept across his face. "I just think roses are so interesting. They signify beauty and passion that makes everyone get allured by it. But aside from its beauty, the thorns that signify danger surround them. Though others perceive roses deceitful, I think they're precious. Because once you managed to cut the thorns protecting them from danger, it makes you feel significant. And that's why people give it to their romantic partners; they want to make them feel significant," he explained. Miguel impressed me so much. I'd never managed to look deeper into things such as that because I wasn't fond of being unrealistic. I never got why it was the most meaningful

The struggle that she had to go through is intense. This book shook me and I give Araulla props for even having the strength to come back. Some people leave and never come back. This is such an original story! It's not super cliche. I love that! Great job. :D

The Lost Demoness: Her Silvery Red Eyes Opens

The Lost Demoness: Her Silvery Red Eyes Opens

“My mother asked me about it. She had already had this arranged before I told her about your fondness of roses, especially the baccara. The rose that is known to signify new beginnings.” “That is why I like black roses. It is always thought to only be for death, but there is more to it than that. I feel that these roses hold much in itself, a burden but not a burden. It signifies new life and the beginnings of life after one’s death.” Vastria walked into the room finding a bouquet of roses sitting on a table. Remus smiled as Vastria spoke. “My mother would love to hear what you think about roses. You would be stuck with her for hours.” Remus could only laugh thinking about it.

THE BILLIONAIRE NEXT DOOR

THE BILLIONAIRE NEXT DOOR

She was still screaming and wailing, not pausing for a second even though he was there. Tyler was just about to walk into his apartment having unlocked the door with his card key when he caught sight of what had her disturbed. Laying on the floor was a bouquet of black roses. His blood ran cold as he bolted in and shut the door. Black roses? He couldn't help questioning himself. That was not a good sign in any way. Black didn't mean well on a norm because it signified a lot of negative things. Like death. And in the case of the roses, the meaning was not far-fetched either way. It meant vengeance, revenge, and of course death.

Master Blair's Fiery Pursuit

Master Blair's Fiery Pursuit

She looked at him and asked, “Why did you suddenly decide to plant a field of roses in the garden?” Blair held her hand and walked to the table. “Roses mean ‘I love you’. I wanted to give you a field of roses, where even if they whither, they will bloom fresh flowers again.” He lowered his head and kissed her hand, his voice low and husky. “They symbolize my love for you, unwavering until death.” Mable’s breath caught. Unwavering until death. What a heavy promise. His feelings for her were truly... Mable looked at Blair, her eyes slightly moist.

I was reading this story on HeyNovel but it was called Mr. Goodwin, Your Ex-wife is a stunner and have different character names. The story is good but stopped updating at chapter 300. Excited that I found it here and looking forward to continuing the story.

I absolutely LOVE this story! I wish I could give it more than 5 stars! I have been unable to put my phone down since I started reading it. I do have one complaint, though...I wish the author would do some proof reading before posting the chapters onto this app because there are quite a few typos

The Blind Alpha

The Blind Alpha

And though the road ahead seemed shrouded in darkness, I knew that Rose's light would guide me through the shadows, a beacon of hope in the depths ___ The weight of loss hung heavy upon me as I stood by Rose's freshly dug grave. Her absence felt like a gaping wound in my heart, a painful reminder of the fleeting nature of life. With somber reverence, I placed a single red rose atop her burial mound, a silent tribute to the love we once shared.

Every Rose

Every Rose

I never could have prepared myself for what I saw. Mason was sitting on his bed, and the Omega that gave him a seductive smile at school, was sitting next to him. Masons' head shot up, his face filled with panic. 'Mate has been marked by that she-wolf. 'REJECT HIM!' She screamed. My eyes wandered to his neck, where I saw it. She marked him. I was in shock. I couldn't do anything but stare at the mark.

Lost

Lost

BlackWidOw6648losersadlie
The table was set beautifully with a set of rose-scented candles and free-lying petals were scattered all around it. 'How romantic of you, Uncle Sebastian!' Zaria gushed. Red roses were a sign of love and passion. A symbol that helped lovers confess their love to their partners. One rose was enough to convey thousands of unspoken words and promises. She quickly went to the kitchen to get the food. 'Uncle Sebastian is indeed a commendable man. Mom will be so happy once I tell her this.' Once his job was over, he retired to his quarter. Taking in a petal of rose in her hand, she shyly smiled and looked at the clock which hung on the wall. It showed 7 in the evening.

Aliara: The Kingdom

Aliara: The Kingdom

WHEN THE dark rose, we went to the open field part of our hideout where we would burn the bodies of our dead comrades. I stared at them as they put a blindfold on the four of them lying on the wood and stacks of straw that would be used as fuel to burn the bodies. They are surrounded by different kinds of flowers. Blindfolding is kind of a tradition for us. It is believed in our kingdom that we do that to the dead bodies so that they would not see anything that will distract them and head straight to their destination. This symbolizes that they cannot turn their heads back once they are set for the afterlife.
