Not a kind of proud stare you give someone you admire, but the one you have on your face when someone says something totally stupid.
“You know… being happy neighbors,” he clarifies, still grinning, something I’m becoming really pissed at.
“Leave Nevan,” I snap coldly. “Or I’ll call the police to report you for disturbance of privacy.”
“Is that a thing?” he asks, clicking his tongue, something I find more annoying than cute.
I roll my eyes in disgust, “I’ll gladly make it one.”
Nevan takes a step closer, and it takes everything to stop myself from headbutting him right back. I’m so not in the mood for this, not another drama.
