Her voice was small and barely a whisper – the temptation to close her eyes and start her slumber was like a siren’s call for her. Upon her command, a flock of black butterflies immerged from the darkness of her room. They heed their master’s command and from the accumulated shadow within the flock, a floating egg was seen. It was placed under their master’s arms as if she was curling around it – protecting it. With the command being delivered, the flock of Slaughter butterflies entered Cent’s shadow, waiting to be called again – the taste of angel flesh still lingering their predatory instincts.

Every ceremony needs an altar and Zlo lacked the imagination for anything else. The marble suddenly began to roil and bubble, viscous as blood. Its hidden treasures were revealed and the marble subsided, quiet and cold once more. On the altar lay the seedling sprouting from its small pocket of soil, the gold harmonicus, a familiar-looking switchblade and a still, four-legged form with splayed wings. “Fierce!” Ilyria cried out, unable to stop herself. She clamped her hand over her mouth as she tried to hold back the sobs that threatened to overwhelm her.

Zara's healing light flared, attempting to protect her family, but the Fortuna witches were relentless, their powers fueled by malice and a thirst for domination. "Run, Aqua!" The warriors of the Fujimura Clan turned to ashes right away. "Now, show me the shortcut going to the d*mn wedding!" I willed Vashti. My eyes were now bloody red, and my claws were long and sharp.

Klara announced, hoping Shota would say something reasonable at this point, "I'll plead with them to help restore Reyana's powers." "The Blood Witches?" A dry chuckle left Shota's lips, "One of the biggest mistakes the Blood Crescent pack is about making yet again. Call it off immediately, Klara. Take this as a fair warning." With that, Shota disappeared into the garden she had emerged from, leaving Klara in the chamber, wallowing in confusion and worry. *** "What do you want?
