I never knew how important that little news reel would become. The sound was off, but the images were a relentless, cheerful assault. Lots of flashing pictures of happy, diverse people laughing as they used their XBands to navigate gleaming cities, hug their families, and achieve professional bliss. The chyron at the bottom of the screen stated, with bland finality: XBAND'S NEW AI FLAGSHIP - 'PRIMUS' - THE LARGEST AI BRAIN EVER MADE, IS NOW SINGLE-HANDEDLY RUNNING ALL XBAND SOFTWARE. A NEW ERA OF SEAMLESS INTEGRATION.

she chimed. I raised an eyebrow, sarcasm dripping from my voice. "More drugs? Can't I just have a break from all this medication for once?" Rachel chuckled. "Not yet, Alex. You're still recovering. You need these medications to help your heart heal." I protested, "But I feel a lot better! I'm not an invalid, you know. I can walk around without any issues now." Rachel smiled patiently. "I know you feel better, Alex, but your body is still recovering. You need to take it easy for a while longer. Besides, you can take that argument up with your wife Rhonda."

She had a black cloak over her overweight body and peeks of her white hair were visible from under the hood of the cloak. “Sit down,” she spoke, and I did. Xander took a seat beside me. He seemed a little bit uncomfortable. “Place your hand on the crystal,” she instructed me, and I did as I was told. She placed her wrinkled hands over mine and closed her eyes. For some unknown reason, my heart was beating fast. “I speak no direct words, so you’ll have to figure out on your own what I mean.” I slowly nodded and waited for her to tell me anything. “You may be beloved, but that’s not who you are thought to be. You are… much more. You’re a halo, a source of light that illuminates its surrounding

There were no burns, no cracks, it was all fresh. Halo clapped her hands, “It's here, it's here.” Axel frowned, “Halo, did you make that yourself?” He asked, disbelief filling his voice. I might as well ask the same question, but it was stuck in my throat. Baking wasn't a big deal, but Halo was only a four year old. Sometimes, her elderly actions seem to suck all my breath away. I let out a deep breath, “she really did, Axel. I'm as stunned as you are.”

Just then, a brilliantly-colored barrier of light appeared around Wilbur. He stood in the middle of this barrier, completely unmoving. The terrifying Halo of Death struck the barrier, and Maddox let out a crazed laugh. No power could withstand the Halo of Death. It was the God of Darkness' ultimate move, powerful enough to destroy any living being and send their soul to feed the God of Darkness. However, Maddox's smile froze the very next instant. The light shooting out of Halo of Death was completely absorbed by Wilbur's Dragon's Safehaven without even causing the slightest of ripples.

“You minx.” “It just felt so good, Mr.Xander ,” I murmur throatily. “I want to get all of your semen, that’s all. And I want more too, if that’s what you want.” That does it. A light flares in those intense blue eyes, and suddenly, I know I’ll be enjoying my weekend at the cabin after all. Xander’s POV

I won't gain access to him freely without losing my life! "The only way to get Xavier is through his son. Get his son trapped and lure him out!... Now go in there and fight with him!" Hutton commanded, leaving my jaw dropping as great fear gripped him. "What did you say?" I asked, my eyes widening as I froze in place. "Xander stays in that garden over there whenever there is a break period. He had warned everyone not to go inside. You are going there to kill him." He ordered, and I knew quite well that my life was ending for real.

" replied as if nothing. "Why are you telling me all this? Aren't you afraid that I will say that your brother is an illegal boxer?" He left the chocolates aside. "I'm sure you will not tell anyone about this. "Why are you so sure about that?" he asked confused. "Easy" he raised his feet on the desk" I feel like I know you and I do not know from where.

she held the bracelet to her chest. "Yeah, but look for a way to hide it. That thing is shining. It was not noticeable when that Bryan was wearing it because it was dirty and covered with slime" he said. "Yeah. You are right" she was still staring at the bracelet and was massaging the place that had the name encrypted on it. "I do not think those with the X-blood are mixed up with these zombies. Just like I have not seen any Failed Experiment here" she said. "Yeah. They are not kept in the same place. I think the Failed experiment is kind of violent or something. But I have not completed my research about them before we came down here" he explained.

I rolled my eyes. "These are wolf claws. Fresh ones." My stomach dropped. "How do you…" "Because I am a nurse for crying out loud, I have been patching up supernatural and what have you for years now." She pulled out a different bottle, this one glowing faintly blue. "This isn't just our home, Liam. It's a safe house." I blinked. "What now?" "A safe house. For people like us. People who need to hide." She spread the blue stuff on my scratches. It felt like ice and sunshine at the same time.
