The CEO’s Perfect Mistake

The CEO’s Perfect Mistake

Ads by Pubfuture I brought him to the balcony, and I smiled when I felt the night breeze tickled on my skin. I wanted to change my clothes, but I knew I needed to talk with Ashton about our project, and I felt so glad he prepared his notes. And I am amazed by how well he has written his notes, and he highlighted all the key points, and it was very shocking to learn that we chose the same book, one from Shakespeare, from Jane Austin, and the classic historical book by Margaret Mitchell entitled Gone With The Wind. "You chose, Megan." He said when he realized I was still looking in his notes, and when I handed him my notes, I saw him shaking his head out of the corner of my eye.

The billionaire virgin wife

The billionaire virgin wife

It was Damian Knight’s voice when he said, “You belong to me.” Because a part of her believed him. And a darker part didn’t want to argue. She stood restlessly and wandered the room. Her fingers trailed along the bookshelves. Most were hardbound. Thick, glossy, untouched. Titles like Power & Play, Behavioral Strategy, and Psychology of Loyalty. One book was crooked. She tilted her head. It was the only one not aligned with the rest. She reached out. Pulled it. Nothing happened. No secret door. No dramatic reveal.

Stolen Vow:Billionaire Hidden Bride

Stolen Vow:Billionaire Hidden Bride

I flinched. Even though I hated the rumpled, mismatched two-piece she wore—blue and purple? Really?—I couldn’t take my eyes off her. To be fair, I paid enough for my staff to wear killer corporate looks, my instinct argued. Another woman behind the counter, grabbed the book from her. “He released a new one?” she asked, practically bouncing. “Man is on fire!” It was clear they were talking about Anthony’s latest novel. But what I couldn’t understand was... why did I care?

OBSESSED (Book One)

he asked and I frowned. "Better question, why not?" I retorted immediately. "You need to give me actual reasons why you think that your company is worthy of my investments my dear. I'm not the kind of man who mixes business with pleasure," he replied and I scoffed. "There's always a first time for everything Mr Deville and besides, Elite fashion is one of the best fashion companies in New York and we have amazing collections that usually sell really well so I'd say that my company is worth your money," I told him confidently.

Sinful Nights

Sinful Nights

No one has found the bodies yet, though, so theres still a lingering hope out there that they're alive. I sigh as I crawl under the thick quilt, flicking on the lamo beside me as I pull out my latest find at Barnes and Nobels: The Winter Garden by the famous Kristin Hannah. This woman's books are truly amazing. Then, after an hour long reading session, I find my eyes beginning to shut against my will, so I set down the book on the bedside table and shut off the lamp. ~ The next morning...

Luna of the Menae

Luna of the Menae

There is no mate bond, but having him close makes me feel more secure. “I can’t wait for you to see this.” He rubs his thumb on the top of my hand as he leads me to a store. It’s rare Bronx gets so excited about surprising me. We approach a bookstore with a dusty, old window display. In gold paint, there is a picture of a pan flute and a goat. The images are peeling and sundried as if they’ve been there forever. Over the pictures are the words ‘The Barded Goat Used & Collectible Books’.

This story was “ABSOLUTELY PHENOMENAL”!! I love love loved it!! So well written & very descriptive!! The characters had such depth! My favourite characters were Bronx and Kas(Iokaste), of course!! They went through “SO” much, but made it through!!
Sarah Geer
Love this book and this author. She has found a way to write two books that seem like completely different stories but then happen to intertwine at an unexpected point. Ever chapter she posts leaves me wanting more. I can’t wait to continue reading this series!

THE RELUCTANT MRS. ROWE

THE RELUCTANT MRS. ROWE

We just kept existing in the same space and let whatever was happening happen at whatever pace it decided to happen at. It was the most uncontrolled thing I had done in years. I was surprised to find I did not hate it. Monday he left a book on the kitchen counter. Not a note with it. Just the book. A biography of a woman who had built one of the first female led law firms in New York in the nineteen sixties. I had mentioned her once in a conversation two weeks ago. One sentence. I had not thought he was paying that level of attention. I took it to my room and read fifty pages before I went to sleep.

Candy Of The Mafia Leader

Candy Of The Mafia Leader

She took a deep breath and released it slowly before closing the app. After a waiter served a cup of tea to her, Delilah began to sit quietly. She was going to read the book "The Ones Who Walk Away From Omelas." The legendary book was one of the gifts Daniel gave to Delilah. Now and then, Grey glanced and smiled to see her so drowned reading. He then resumed his work until a television broadcasted a news story at the cafe. ROCKEFELLER PLAZA James walked the red carpet with a blinding camera flash. James came alone without a partner, and it looked normal. What is unusual is when Nicole Schruman came over and posed with James on the red carpet.
