MoonLight

MoonLight

Lynx scrambled away, still laughing even as Nathaniel chased him through the underbrush, sparks flying from his fingertips. Lalaine shook her head, a small smile playing on her lips. "The grown-ups are more childish than the orphans," she whispered to the girls, leading them back toward the nun to show off their braided hair. ---- Meanwhile, the library was a tomb of silence. To Stella, it felt like an orphanage for old, forgotten books. She wandered the aisles until a spine on the highest shelf caught her eye. She climbed the rolling wooden ladder, her fingers trembling as she pulled the volume out. "The Moon Princess" was embossed on the cover. There was no author listed. She flipped it op

The luna’s misery

The luna’s misery

From the north, the silver light spread like a veil, casting long, trembling shadows across the kitchen floor. For a moment, it didn’t feel like light at all. It felt like a gaze. A smile. Maybe the moon really was happy about tonight. Its glow was bright enough to turn sorrow into joy, bright enough to promise everlasting happiness. For the past two months, the moon had been only a half-shadow. But tonight it was full again. Full and perfect. In the book I once read, the old one hidden at the bottom of the library shelf.it said that when the moon was full and sharp, the Moon Goddess herself was pleased. It meant she was watching closely, preparing to bless or judge what was about to happen.

But when I was about to put the book back on the shelf, my hand gripped the book tighter. "Oh, Moon Goddess," cried Eliz, stepping back to avoid me. A blue light flashed out of the book, and suddenly the wind was fast enough to open all the sheets of the book before my eyes. I felt my iris come to light when I saw the book in my hand. There are so many whispers that I hear, and they seem to be scrambling to know me. Some of them whispered while singing familiar melodies to my ears.

A Bear's Mirrored Romance

A Bear's Mirrored Romance

This left the floor and lower walls in a growing shadow. The girls pulled out their phones and activated the flashlight options on them. That’s when they discovered the unique was the light reflected from the rocks. They appeared to twinkle. A little more investigation revealed a crevice in one wall. As the moon rose, its light landed on that very spot. Gemma, on a whim, set the book into the space and opened it. That’s when the magic of the moonlight did its thing. The words appeared. A handwritten cursive script lay revealed before them.

The Lycan's Obsession

She said as if she had not just lifted me up through the air and brought me down in a second. I gulped and tried to recall what I was going to say. “D…dark magic is unholy, it is impure and vile. So we need something holy to kill her and destroy this book.” “What is it?” One of the onlookers asked and I replied. “Us. All of us are created by the Moon Goddess. All of us awaken our wolves under the moonlight. Essentially, we all have traces of moonlight in our blood, in our very soul. So if we all try together, we could destroy the book.”

Ana Cheyanne McGary
I am not often sucked into a story like this, but I actually care about the characters. the male lead is intriguing and mysterious. i like that the female lead, is strong. I'd love to see where you go with this. I'll be checking out your other stories while waiting and anticipating your next update
Dawn Cochran
In my honest opinion, it's a good story, but I'm not done with the book yet. I'm struggling with it. The author has drug the story out and jumps ahead without clarifying things. (Like all of a sudden, the FL has magic, but for 113 chapters, there is no mention of it or her being a hybrid.)

The Clandestine Saga

The Clandestine Saga

But considering the action LIGHTS had taken recently against his kind, he would find a way to accomplish the task at hand. His eyes flickered back to the ancient book in front of him. Handwritten and hand bound, it was older than any volume he’d ever held before. As far as he knew, there were only two others like it in the world. One was with the doctor who’d contacted him somewhere in Eastern Europe, though he didn’t know where. The other was allegedly in the archives the LIGHTS team housed in Kansas City. If they were even aware of the legends it held, he doubted they’d think to access it for something as simple as an Eidolon Festival. Sure, the evening news would remind everyone that the

HIS REJECTION, ANOTHER'S CLAIM,MY TWINS,MY POWER

HIS REJECTION, ANOTHER'S CLAIM,MY TWINS,MY POWER

As she burst through the trees, she saw him — a boy barely fifteen, struggling against a snarling shadow-wolf far larger and more ferocious than any normal beast. The rogue’s weapon, a crude spear, trembled in his hands, useless against the snarling monster. “Elena!” he gasped. “Help me!” She reached out, and suddenly, light exploded from her fingertips — a pure, brilliant radiance that cut through the darkness like a blade. The shadow-wolf recoiled, howling in fury and confusion. It backed away as the light coalesced, wrapping around the boy like a protective shield. The child’s eyes widened in awe, the light steadying his trembling hands. His spear grew stronger, glowing faintly as if char

Magic by Moonlight

Magic by Moonlight

Everything, except for one word that kept resounding in my mind. Bond. *** Moonlight shined down on me. Its warm beams catch the dew that glimmered off the grass and illuminated a path before me. I began to follow the trail of moonlight. My bare feet stepped quietly and with purpose as I made my way up a hill. When I reached the top I looked at the full moon. It was enormous and emitted a warm glow. Something inside me called to it. Closing my eyes in contentment, I stood there under its power and let its magic absorb into my skin. Then the sound of soft tinkling caught my attention.

The Moon Shadow

The Moon Shadow

I retorted. "Hmph! You're just a coward. I am confident, strong, and brave, yet I'm bound by someone as weak, powerless, and foolish as you. It's truly unfair," she continued to criticize me. "Get away!" I blocked Rose, but I couldn't block the desire permeating the air. I tossed and turned, restless and uneasy. I looked outside the window; the deep blue sky was adorned with drifting clouds, and a full moon hung among the treetops, casting a gentle glow over everything like a thin veil. The chorus of insects filled the night, playing the symphony of nature. A strong desire surged within me. I longed to tread on the muddy ground, to feel the softness of the grass under my feet. I yearned to r

When a Womanizer Alpha Mated to a Playgirl Beta

When a Womanizer Alpha Mated to a Playgirl Beta

“Relax, Luna. When the moon reaches its peak, your struggles will cease. Your precious blood will be mine, and your fate will be sealed.” Lara let out a desperate sob, her chest heaving as her gaze locked onto the moon, its pale light growing colder and more sinister with each passing moment. It was almost there—almost at its zenith, where the power Thana sought would be at its fullest. The chains binding Lara seemed to tighten, their cursed weight pressing down on her wrists and soul, as if they too were reacting to the moon's approach. The strange light made her skin look pale and cold, and she felt like something scary was getting closer.
