Cafe Aesthetic Novels & Stories

I don’t think I deserve any of this. As soon as I walked into the cafe, the aesthetics gave me a reason to believe he liked the coffee here for the beauty and asides that? It smelt like roses and cookies and of course coffees. It’s like a wonderland but I wasn’t there for the aesthetics or to check the place out. “An order for Mr. King?” I asked as I got to the counter, I found the smile that the owner had, he seemed excited I wasn’t in the mood to make friends.

That just added up to my restlessness. The car stopped in front of a small but cozy cafe. The exterior was painted in plain khaki. On the foot of the brick wall were concrete boxes filled with green plants. On the top was glow in the dark neon green letters which formed the name of the cafe- Coffee and Arts. It was simple on the outside but once you step in you would want to stay forever. “Now I know why it wasn’t familiar. It’s a cafe for average people.” Her words were perfectly crafted with consonants of humiliation and vowels of boast.

As I felt a bit tired from walking, I looked for a place to settle in and have a break, maybe to eat as well as I felt the crumbling of my stomach. What caught my attention was a cafe with “Pisces and Gem” signage , since I'm a Pisces I immediately entered the cafe. It gives an interesting vibe. Upon entering a cozy feeling turned to my view, the ambience gives you a relaxing feeling, wooden fixtures are shiny and there's even an artificial bermuda grass on the floor. I expected it to be blue since the cafe’s name represents fish, however it is a lot differ from what I am in.

It's big and there are quite a few people sitting inside and outside, so I guess it's good. I try to ignore the rude looks from certain people as I enter the cafe even though they make me feel more out of place than I already felt and opt to focus on the cafe's decor. I was afraid I would get an instant headache as I always do when I walk into a poorly decorated place, but it doesn't happen this time. The colors are strange, there is a prominent blue-green on the walls and the furniture is red, as are the curtains. They also have a bunch of paintings hanging on the walls in all sorts of colors, which makes a big visual mess, but somehow it works.

I don't even think I have met her yet. "Get inside!" My mother roared and ushered me into the cafe. The cafe that we were in is one of our favorites. Mom and I love this place because it screams vintages. It was like we were in a Victorian-style room having cups of tea and eating desserts. It wasn't that big though, but I can say that it was as big as any normal classroom. It was painted white and beige. Vintage picture frames hung on the walls, white table and chairs at the center, red Victorian bench cushions at the sides, white wooden floor, mini chandeliers, and that one decorative bike parked at the white for more of that vintage look.
