Something tells me that it must be his mistress that he left to see. Allen walked quietly into the room, it was my girlfriend's bar, so no security dared stop me, I just followed Allen straight inside the room. “How did it go?” I heard a young lady's voice. It sounded like my girlfriend Joan but that was impossible, she was visiting her grandmother for the holiday. “Guess who isn't getting a breakup,” Allen laughed loudly. “That bitch thought she could just break up with me and leave me broke, that was a wide idea.” “She would be at your mercy…it's only a matter of time before you are the one heading The Rodriguez's group,” the lady added.

The woman didn’t deserve this when she was trying her best to satisfy me without giving me a fuss “did you do what I told you to?” “Yes, I should be getting an email tomorrow with their response, then they would be emailing her to prepare her schedule before the due date” Carter said and I nodded. You will do your best to make her feel at home here. She is one of us now. Everyone, meet Caitlin Paine.” Caitlin never did well in the spotlight, and she was embarrassed by all the attention. She was even more embarrassed to see all of the vampires slowly and formally bow their heads towards her. Suddenly, Caitlin felt something brush up against her leg, and she looked down and was embarrassed to see Rose interrupting, stepping into the circle, and yelping.

All four of these women are impossibly gorgeous, and I’m feeling a little self-conscious as I stand across from them with tangly, windblown hair, dressed in borrowed clothes that don’t fit quite right. “Sorry for barging in like this, we’re just so excited you’re here!” the little curly-haired one chirps enthusiastically. She must be able to read the confusion on my face because she quickly goes on to elaborate. “You met our mates this morning. I’m Astrid, and this is Quinn, Brooke, and Fallon,” she says, pointing to each of the other girls as she names them off. “Nice to meet you all,” I breathe, smoothing my hair with a hand and stepping closer. “Are you part of Reid’s pack, or…”

To this day, her family still hasn’t found or heard anything from her. “Kaitlin isn’t Regina’s daughter. David Trendle went to school with us. His first wife disappeared and to this day no one had heard or seen her. Regina must have gained custody of Kaitlin. I have no idea how she was able to do this sine I know that David’s family is still in town. I am not sure about is first wife’s family. I think she was from somewhere on the west coast.” I tell them.

She even had her own personal butler, Henry Weaver, to help her get dressed. But when it came to anything concerning me, she always insisted on doing it herself. Maybe I really did mishear just now. After all, didn't Dr. Alan Morse tell me that my hearing could be a bit impaired right after recovery? Besides, the person Caitlin hated most in her life was Shane Tate, so how could they possibly still have anything going on between them? "Caitlin, have you lost your mind? Even if you wanted someone to take the fall for the scandal of Shane being raped, you didn't have to actually have those men sexually assault Terry. The uniform was neatly folded with a black barrette on it. Her name was carved on a gold medal on the breast pocket the uniform and it read "Anna Lu : 18th Head Chief Of The Barettes. Anna looked at her name with pride. She started off as a girl from a village who ended up on a wheel chair and now she was here. The 18th head cheif of the Eve's Barettes! She had amazing and unique women under her. She collected the uniform with trembling hands and she really couldn't hide her emotions anymore as her tears fell freely.

I'm sure I look mortified as I stand up, "Hi, my names Bec and I'm from Livingston" I look around the room as I speak. It's hard not to notice all the kids giving each other pointed looks. "Well hello Bec it's so nice to meet you darlin, you can take your seat again," her thick Texas accent is almost too overwhelming for me. Luckily, she launches straight into the class without any further questions. I pretend to follow along while subconsciously doing little drawings around my book, trying my hardest not to think about the boy with raven hair.
