Embrace The Dark

Embrace The Dark

She was calming me down, talking, and soothing me. "...They might spook you but that's about it. Just ignore them, they would usually go away. I would usually see them, acknowledge them telling them that I know that they existed, then they would usually go away." She holds me in my bed while telling her stories until I fall asleep.

His rejected mate

His rejected mate

I whispered with a loving smile, "which story would you like tonight?" Mathew's face lit up with excitement, his tiny hands reaching for his favorite book. "The one about the brave little wolf, Mumma!" I chuckled as I opened the book, a captivating story about a young wolf's grand adventure. Mathew listened with rapt attention, his eager eyes fixed on the pages as I spun the tale of bravery and exploration. By the time I reached the part where the little wolf found solace under the silvery glow of the moon, my son was already fast asleep.

Lady of the dirt track

Lady of the dirt track

I smile softly and brush my fingers through her hair again as the room slowly settles back into calm. “Better?” I whisper. “A little.” “Good.” I keep talking quietly after that. Random happy memories. Stories from school. Funny moments from racing. Anything gentle enough to guide her mind somewhere safer. Eventually, her eyelids start to grow heavy again. Her breathing slows. And finally, she drifts back off to sleep, curling carefully against my side.

The Rejected Omega: There Were Times I Wished You Were Dead

The Rejected Omega: There Were Times I Wished You Were Dead

she murmured sleepily, “can I have a story?” I hesitated. My lips parted, but no sound came. Irma stirred within me. “It’s now or never. Ease her in. You can do this, Amber. Just breathe.” I took a slow breath and let out a stream of calming pheromones to keep Evalie relaxed. She was too perceptive sometimes, and I couldn’t risk her picking up on my nerves. “This isn’t exactly a bedtime story,” I said gently, brushing a loose strand of hair from her forehead, “but I promise it’s way more interesting.”

Primrose Love
I'm saving all my gems for this book. The story is just that good! The plot twists are so unique and unexpected. I don't want to spoil it but I've never read anything like this before and it's very refreshing. The characters are deep and multifaceted, the writing is so good you can feel everything.

Really love this book. So well written. I can actually feel the emotions of Amber and Rayne. Is there still hope for both of them to be mates again? I strongly feel Rayne’s wolf Eden definitely deserves Amber.

THE SCENT OF MY CURSE

THE SCENT OF MY CURSE

" He took a deep breath in and I followed. Again and again. Until I feel myself calm. We stayed there like that, enjoying the morning air and the morning sun. The sound of the forest calmed me. “Are you calm now?" He asked. And I nodded. “I need you to close your eyes" I did as he said. His voice was soft and calm. Softening my anxiety. “Call on your wolf" I did just that The world softened. The forest sounds faded until there was only quiet, and then, slowly, something else. Warmth.

Claimed By The Ruthless Alpha

Claimed By The Ruthless Alpha

She told me that every creature had a frequency and that if you could find the right tone you could calm even the angriest beast without ever having to shift or draw a weapon, and she had made me practice a low humming sound until I could make the birds stop singing in the trees around us. "Listen to me and listen to the sound of my voice because you are not a monster and you are still one of us somewhere deep inside that head of yours," I said while I closed my eyes and tried to ignore the throbbing pain in my fingers. I started to hum a low and steady note that felt like it was coming from the very bottom of my lungs and I focused all my energy on the vibration of the sound, and at first

The Alpha's Private Affair

The Alpha's Private Affair

If only I could remove the collar on my neck — then I could try to communicate with Ahbaya through the connection. ‘Calm down, just calm down. Panicking won’t help. Just … try to calm down. Don’t hurt yourself more.’ Sow reminded me, trying to calm my raging nerves. My wolf chanted silently in my mind like a lullaby until the pain dropped and I was able to relax.

The Forgotten King

The Forgotten King

I lull to sleep with the crackling of fire tranquillizing me. His soothing hums brings waves of happiness to me as he combs his strong fingers through my dark; curly; locks of hair. His lulls vibrate through his muscular chest as I trace patterns on his built chest. I smile, this moment I wish could last forever. His lulls are his stories, the ones he would tell. Purely to make me smile.

Rewriting My Story

Rewriting My Story

As long as my third move was executed perfectly, getting Conrad out of the picture wouldn't be hard. I had been preparing everything as planned. I had long talks with my father and strategized with Horace. Things at the Reeses' residence were business as usual. Conrad went to work and came home, while Kelly continued her endless crying. A month passed quickly. One night, as darkness fell, I sent Conrad a message. [Meet me at Serenity Park in the West End at midnight.]
