Her obsessed beast

Her obsessed beast

She walked out of that dark place letting the dim light of the room engulf her. She stood there, the weight of her past pressing down on her shoulders, but now there was something new. Something softer — and yet, infinitely more terrifying. The curve of her belly, swollen with a seven-month-old baby, was a quiet rebellion against everything she had endured. It was a testament to the survival of something pure, something that had no place in a world like hers. But the fear in her eyes was impossible to miss. Fear of the unknown, of what this child would face, of what might come for them both if her past ever caught up with her.

Alpha Damien

Alpha Damien

Right now, he is trying to hide something. Damien couldn't help but to ponder what Alex just told him. He knew that for him to say something about Jasmine and the killings that had been happening, that means she knew something about that. Apart from what Alex even said about her, he had been noticing her late outings had become persistent and now, he is very suspicious of her. Someone that loves the midnight air wouldn't go out everyday at very late in the night to just 'enjoy the air'. Just because of the recent killings and Jasmine's persistent night outings, Damien realized that the pack was in chaos. Nothing seemed right anymore. Ariel was missing, families were dying, Jazmine was acting

My Life as a Beast Keeper

My Life as a Beast Keeper

"Millions? You don't look like you're worth the price." Clayton stood, eyeing Salem with interest. "Do you know where to bite down on your throat to make someone quiet?" Clayton took a step forward. "Or how to make a beastkin vanish without a trace? Only a lowly beastkin like me would know, right?" Salem sensed the warning bells. He took a nervous step back, his tail flicking anxiously. "What are you trying to do?"

Divine Academy

Divine Academy

Watching Beckett teach his class and how he moved from one form to the next was like watching the waves crash into each other, absolutely mesmerizing. I was a little worried about coming out with Beckett this morning. I knew he saw all demons as monsters, and I wasn't sure what it would do to our relationship, but it doesn't seem to bother him, and if it does, he hasn't commented on it yet. I know we will have to talk about his views on demons, but right now, I want to enjoy the calming sounds of the waves crashing into each other. "I told you, you would enjoy it," Beckett remarks as he comes up behind me and wraps his arms around my waist.

A Baby For The Beast

A Baby For The Beast

I sensed it was because of the fact that he turned them. “Please listen to me--” “Not them.” “Not them, Ava.” “They were responsible for the girl’s death! Tabitha…they fed on her blood and made her hate herself.” I let out. “I need to know what creature they are! What did you turn them to?” King Caspian was silent that instant. It was almost like he absorbed everything I said and was contemplating it. After a long while, he finally spoke. “My beast has different abilities.” “You’re lucky you took most of its genes, Ava.”

Beast

Beast

J.S. Wilder
His question hung in the air. I chewed on my lower lip, debating how much I should reveal to this virtual stranger. Despite our online banter, sitting here in person with Tomas felt dangerously intimate. An unsettling sense of vulnerability washed over me in crushing waves. I was in over my head, I just knew it. But I forced a sardonic smile onto my face anyway. "I guess it's the same reason people watch scary movies or jump out of planes. It's the thrill, that edge of danger, the morbid fascination with the dark and macabre." A half-smile tugged at the corner of his mouth. "So, should we craft a story about you? A girl, not an heiress but a regular girl in a café, kidnapped by a guy who lov

CEREBUS

CEREBUS

Red ink scrawled across printouts of Greek translations. Cerberus: Guardian of the Underworld. Chimera: Fire-breathing horror. Eternal opposites. Gatekeeper and Destroyer. Her eyes burned from staring too long at the same paragraphs. But every time she blinked, she saw the mall. She saw Cerebus sedated, collapsing, dragged away like trash. She saw the newspapers calling him a monster. She clenched her jaw, whispering into the stale air: “You don’t even know him. None of you.”

THE BEAST IN ME

THE BEAST IN ME

He answered. His words made total sense. As simple as he looked, he was wise and very accurate with his intuitions. "So what's your decision father. We both know that when you cross the damn river there is no point of return." I reminded him. "Damon, That Beast is searching for a breeder. A bond and mate. If luckily Hera proves herself worthy and its instinct is drawn fully to her, it won't harm her. I don't want to think the worst that's why I still have a ray of hope that she is still alive and being kept well." He answered.

I am very impressed by this book. I love the pure fact this is an entirely different race of supernaturals from the norm. Also, love the fact the characters from this pack are still somewhat primal and that there is so much raw emotion. I can't wait for more chapters, it is definite worth the read

When he saw her, his eyes blazed with a mixture of amazement and confusion. ‘Either I’m in Hell or we have both embarked on a most fortuitous day, Miss Beecham.’ ‘Just get out of the casket,’ Beatrice said coldly as bigger waves coursed though the chamber. ‘From here you’re on your own.’ Pontefract nodded his understanding and climbed from his metal prison.
