“Ive known him since forever, Damien….it’s not possible.” Suddenly, Damien pulls away from me, leaving me to the sudden cold in the living room. I wrapped my arms around my body and watched as he took off his jacket, his tie, his watch, and took out a pack of cigarettes. Sliding against the wall, he didn’t bother with the couch as he lit the flame, lighting the butt of the Cuban cigar before inhaling its poisonous fume. The sweet, heavy scent of tobacco filled the space between us. I watched him pat the spot beside him softly, calling for me. I didn’t hesitate; I went to him.

“Glad to know.” Damon gave Callie the side eye. “That will not work on me.” Callie took this as a challenge. “Hmm, we will see about that.” Ethan walked in with two plates. Handing one to each of us, he sat in front of Damon. “This is the night I wish we still smoked.” The hamburger was inches from my mouth. “HA!” Finishing my bite, I just smiled at him. “The devil’s lettuce?” “Grace!” Ethan looked shocked. “No! A fucking cigarette! Do you honestly think I would be alive if my dad caught me smoking pot?”

The bright white lights stung Cameron's eyes, causing her to squint. As soon as Cade entered the room, he could smell the faint odor of smoke in the air. He frowned and asked coldly, "You're smoking?" Cameron leaned against the couch, her half-closed eyes hazy with drunkenness. "Yup." The freshly extinguished cigarette butt was in the trash can right next to her. There was no hiding it, but there was nothing to hide either. Cade's expression was cold. All he had for her were disdainful sneers. "You don't have any good habits, only bad ones. And now, you're smoking too. Who taught you to do it? Those good-for-nothing friends of yours?"

Mia said and everyone gasped. "You are not pregnant for him" Cameron suddenly spoke up and everyone turned to him. "What are you saying?" Rose who was beside him asked. "I know what I'm saying " Cameron mumbled to her before stepping out. "She is not pregnant for sir Damien and I have proof" he said. "What the hell are you saying? Which dumb proof do you have" Mia said, calmly but inside, she was shivering in fear. "This" Cameron muttered showing them his phone. "I have a recording" he added and went to connect his phone to the speaker before playing the recording he had recorded the other time at the hospital.

I don't want Liam to know that Cristiano and I are not good, and I hope he doesn't show his anger towards me in front of Liam. That was the only thing on my mind while we were eating, and my nervousness increased when I found out that Cristiano was already outside. "He's waiting outside," Liam told me. I nodded and immediately stood up from my seat. I could feel my hand shaking because of the fear I felt, but I forced myself to calm down. I saw Cristiano in front of his car. He was leaning there while smoking a cigarette. It's not the first time I've seen him smoking, but I'm still surprised. He threw it when we got close to him and stepped on it.

He extended his hand toward her. Hayden turned to look at him in confusion. “Mr. Hayden, give me a cigarette to smoke. I haven’t smoked for a long time, and seeing you smoke makes me want to smoke too.” Hayden kept quiet for a while before she fished out a pack of cigarettes. She pulled out a cigarette and handed it to Kevin. “Lend me your lighter.” Kevin borrowed a lighter from Hayden. He seldom smoked because Serenity and Jasmine did not like the smell of tobacco. Moreover, Zachary and Josh were quitting smoking. This made the other men of the Yorks think that their fiancée might not like the smell of tobacco too.

Zac’s POV Playing a character is so hard. I coughed over a hundred times when Damon, my boss, first lit my cigarette. I could handle alcohol, no doubt. I take it like I take water, no biggie. But puffs? Well, I've been made to do it once, and I'm sure I'd never repeat it. Damon made Farh drive me in his newly acquired cyber truck. Proud bastard. “So are you going to get talking?” Emily asked. “You know, about your illegal business.” She added.

Damon had promised to stop smoking and hadn't done it in so long. So who could it be? I walked faster, and then I saw him. Damon was standing there in a shirt and pants with his tie undone, smoking a cigarette, protected from the rain by an overhang. When he saw me, he looked surprised. I just stood there staring at him in complete shock, not believing he was real. He threw the cigarette away and looked at me with an unreadable expression. "Shouldn't you be on your honeymoon?" he asked. I shook my head, my eyes brimming with tears. "I didn't get married, Damon."

'But I'm tiny and weak. "Damien, please stop. That's enough!" Gordon cried. "Not enough to get the reaction we want," Damien said, eyes sparkling. He took a knee beside Jacob and lifted his battered face from the floor. "I hear Kai likes to burn his victims with cigarettes." He pulled a lighter and a cigarette from his pocket, and Gordon had awful flashbacks to the days of being burnt by Kai. He had plenty of scars, but none that were visible. "He only does them where you can't see," Gordon said, watching in horror as Damien aimed the hot cigarette end at Jacob's face.

Zoey's eyes widened. "You're smoking, Dio? Since when?" Dionysus gulped. "Just. . I don't do this often. I'm just feeling kind of off today." "And, since when did you learn to smoke?" Zoey still asked. Sebastian cleared his throat before positioning himself to pump air at the holes of the first air tent in front of him. "I did, Zoey. Why? Got any problem with that?"
