Off Limits
He looks up when I walk in, and I see the flicker in his eyes, the private knowledge we share, before he schools his face into a neutral smile.
"Morning, sleeping beauty." Callum grins at me. "Grabbed you a coffee. Cream, no sugar, right?"
"Yeah. Thanks, Cal." I take the mug, wrapping my hands around the warmth, and slide onto the stool beside Caleb. Our knees brush under the counter, a brief, electric touch, and neither of us pulls away.
"So." Callum flips a strip of bacon onto a paper towel. "The game's tomorrow. I've got a car coming for you at noon—takes you straight to the stadium, drops you at the suite. Sasha and the girls are already confirmed, so you'll have company."
