Natalia's POV The cool wind rushed past me as Hazel raced through the forest with powerful strides, keeping pace beside Dominic's massive gray wolf. Dry leaves scattered beneath our paws while the familiar scent of pine and damp earth filled the air around us. Every instinct inside me urged me to run faster. Hazel pushed herself harder, refusing to slow down until the familiar scent of our border camp reached us. The camp soon came into view between the towering trees. Warriors stood at different posts around the area, keeping a vigilant watch over the surroundings while several healers moved hurriedly between tents with bowls of herbs, clean cloths, and medicinal supplies.

The cashier nods and walks off to make rare hamburgers. Blaze takes the food back with him to the hospital room. Kiki is awake when he comes back. Blaze walks over and hands Blaze the meal. Kiki and Blaze scarfed down the food and then Blaze went to lay down with Kiki and held her. They are still doing crying and zombie-like attitudes to keep up the charade.

Mr Alberty, the Art teacher from Merganzel public school and the one among the two teachers in charge of our camp asks through the microphone, making everyone stir in their seats. “I need wet towels, lots of them.” “Ok Nani, I’ll get right on it.” Kiara nodded and proceeded to collect the supplies from Filip’s guard, who was outside with Cian. She entered back into the tent and dropped the supplies with Nani before going back to the truck to collect as many dry towels as her hands could carry and finding a water source to wet them. Thankfully, Filip’s men had dug a well near the camp so she wouldn’t have trouble finding the nearest river.

Len, Saka, Kimi, and I stood there looking at them. "I want one." Len mind linked. Cade warned me, "Kaya, you can't hunt on that slope; the rocks give out easily." I told my friends, who hesitated but retreated. They knew better than to hunt on unsteady ground. Kimi complained over the link, "Kaya, find us something good." I sniffed.
