She sniffs, glances at me, and smiles; now that's more like her. If this will bring her joy, then let's get completely drunk. I also need it to drown my own unhappiness. "I really like you, Iron Man. Go ahead and order whatever you want. I should have married you instead; you're way more fun." I know she's only saying this because she's intoxicated, but it makes me happy to hear her express it like that. A few hours later........

He proceeded to go sit down but his phone rang and when he looked down, he saw that it was from Lucas. He immediately answered it but the noise from the shop didn’t allow him to hear what Lucas was saying and so, he had to step out.

I finished off the juice and sat the glass onto the nightstand. Spencer came back into the room, holding a wet washcloth in his hands. He sat down beside me, one long leg curled beneath him. “Spread your legs for me, love.”
