Bonds at War: The Untouched is Mine

Bonds at War: The Untouched is Mine

I closed my eyes, fighting the wave of nausea that surged again. “What can we do?” I whispered to the empty dark. “What can happen?” My hands trembled as they moved instinctively to my stomach again. “It’d be nice,” I murmured, “if we had some kind of power, huh?” And then, silence filled the entire place, but it wasn’t the normal kind. The drip of water I hadn’t realized was echoing through the chamber vanished mid-fall. The wind that had been sighing through cracks in the stone simply stopped. Even my own breathing sounded distant and muted.

Sidney
Unique story line, well written and very intriguing. Far better than a lot of other stories on here. I love a strong heroine, I love her even more considering she has managed to become a person who note only can stand up for herself and others but also isn’t afraid to accept help.

Does anyone know if this story has a reverse harem? I’m not into that and it doesn’t have the tag in the description but it’s so many guys pinning for her attention that I would y be surprised if it goes that route later. I’m assuming the story isn’t far along enough for anyone to know tho

HEIRESS REBORN

HEIRESS REBORN

Then I sit back, let the cold air bite at my skin, and whisper to myself: “Let her guess.” Because this time, I am not coming with noise. I am coming with silence. And silence always cuts deeper.

The Alpha's Mute Mate

The Alpha's Mute Mate

The weight of the silence pressed down on me, thick and oppressive, like a suffocating blanket that refused to lift. Even the softest sounds—the rustle of leaves outside, the whisper of the wind brushing against the windowpane—felt muted, subdued, as though the world itself had fallen under a spell of eerie anticipation.

Rejecting My Three Alpha Mates

Rejecting My Three Alpha Mates

I press my fist lightly to my chest and speak into the bond, not demanding, not desperate, but deliberate. You’re not alone. You’re not lost. Take your time. We’re still here. The thread answers with the faintest warmth. Small. Unmistakable. And when the monitors smooth and the room finally settles into watchful quiet, I realize something unexpected: The silence no longer feels like emptiness. No… It feels like something gathering strength.

CHOSEN FOR THE ALPHA

CHOSEN FOR THE ALPHA

When I open my eyes, the room feels colder than it should, as if the night didn’t quite leave, as if something about it lingered along the walls and refused to fade with daylight. For several seconds I lie absolutely still, trying to listen beyond my own breathing. Usually mornings greet me with faint sounds—traffic, birds, neighbors, even the tiny hum of life waking up outside. But today there is nothing. Not a whisper of movement. Not a single reminder that the world exists beyond these walls. Just silence. A silence that feels intentional.

When Love Crosses the Line

When Love Crosses the Line

She longed for the chaos of conversation, the rhythm of communication, yet the emptiness remained, heavy and suffocating. It was in the quiet of one particularly lonely evening, rain pattering against the window, that Amara finally understood the truth. Silence was not neutral. Silence was a force, a pressure that demanded action. It was not the absence of words, but the presence of a choice deferred, a mirror held up to the heart, forcing her to confront what she truly wanted.

His rejected curvy secret

His rejected curvy secret

Faye pov The silence arrived before he did. It was not the kind of silence that followed destruction or exhaustion, the kind that came when everything had already broken and there was nothing left to react to. This silence was different. It felt deliberate, as if the world itself had paused to make space for something that did not need announcement or resistance. Even the air felt wrong. I tightened my hold on the baby instinctively as I stood near what remained of the inner perimeter, my senses straining to understand why everything suddenly felt suspended.

The silence between us

The silence between us

Chapter 6: The Weight of Silence The car moved steadily through the quiet night. The city lights glared past the windows. The roads were less crowded now, the noise of the conference long left behind. Inside the car, the silence felt heavy. Marcus sat on the driver's seat. His hands rested firmly on the steering wheel, his posture straight, eyes fixed on the road ahead. He had learned over the years when to speak and when not to. In the back seat, Lucas sat slightly turned to the side.

A Second Chance: My Twin Mates

A Second Chance: My Twin Mates

Josiah The world has gone silent. Not the good kind of silence, the silence of power, of victory, of dominion. No. This silence feels like the universe holding its breath… waiting for me to break and I am breaking. I can feel it in my bones, in the twitch under my eye, in the way my hands won’t stop clenching, unclenching, clenching again. I'm losing it and I can feel it and I don't like it.
