Jimmy said to Dave, and with that he turned and looked at Mara, who was smiling while listening to the conversation that was confirming what she had said earlier. "Wait just a minute, so you mean Alex's mate is Adrian's former mate?" Dave asked Jimmy through the phone before looking at Mara, who was no longer smiling as she realized how serious the question was. "Yes, boss, that's what I heard from some of the guards who were here before me," Jimmy said to Dave through the phone. "And what is the name of this Alex's mate, if I may ask?" Dave asked Jimmy. "Amelia, her name is Amelia," Jimmy said to Dave, and immediately Mara, who had also heard the name, widened her eyes in surprise as she st

Amelia’s portions had always been of various kinds, they could heal, they could kill or they could slowly torture someone until they beg for mercy. Had this people not be so heartless as to insult Viola like that, she might have spared them. With her abilities, she could easily end all four of their lives but she held back. This was better. She would make them suffer without drawing any suspicion to her involvement. Amelia’s fingers danced over her phone as she quietly sent a message. Meanwhile, on the other side of the city, David Martin, the CEO of this very luxury brand, was deep in an important meeting when his phone beeped.

I just couldn’t bare it anymore that I had to leave my room and immediately make my way to her’s. “I wanted to ask if you uhm….. if you have any relationship with that lady that was part of the crew that hold you captive?”. I do not want to say kidnapped. I refuse to pronounce it out to her. “You mean Amelia? Oh she is not just a part of the crew. She brought up and runs everything” Natalia explained with so much disgust. It takes a lot of work to get her to a mood as such, that Amelia might have triggered a lot of nerves.

"Amelia..." he has been trying to control his rage caused by his fear and panic. Though he knew Amelia is capable to protect herself, he is still as worried as fuck thinking she has been running after criminals. "My love..." looking up at him, her eyes were red from containing her tears. She has been empathizing with the girl and it's crushing his heart. "Baby..." he whispers while facepalming himself.

She walked over and suddenly leaned against her aunt’s legs. Elsa sat on the bed, watching her lie there, Amelia’s back trembling as though she were crying, which made her anxious. “Amelia, don’t cry. Let’s talk about it properly. We’ll solve it together. Stop crying.” Amelia wiped her tears and stood up. The first thing she did was apologize. “I’m sorry, Aunt.” Aunt Elsa was confused. “What for? Why are you apologizing?” Amelia, choking up, said, “The man who came in just now is Blake Hale, a world-renowned genius doctor who specializes in cancer. I heard from the dean that only he can cure your illness, so I went to find him.”

She let out a loud yelp and did her happy dance, Roman was annoyed, he couldn’t believe he just got trashed. “i win, I win, I win” she sang, coming in Roman’s face. He just stared at her with a blank look. “I believe you have something to tell the captain”. he rolled his eyes, pulled out his phone and instructed the captain to go faster. Camila screamed for joy when the ship sped forward. She looked at Roman when she saw he had a sour look on his face.

“…you’re about to be disappointed.” But somewhere deep in his chest — That same cold sensation stirred. Not fear. Not yet. But awareness. This wouldn’t be a simple mission. This wouldn’t be brute force. This would be a game of minds. And he had just agreed to step onto her board. Meanwhile, miles away, Amelia stood by her bedroom window. Her phone lit up. Unknown number. She stared at it for a long moment. Then declined the call. A small smile curved her lips. Transfers always happened quietly.

I tried again, louder. “Hey. I’m Lena Hale from the Northcrest Daily. I need to set up an interview with you for a feature.” Cole finally slowed down and glided over. He stopped right in front of me, still on the ice while I stood on the rubber mats. Up close he was even taller than I thought. His eyes were this crazy light blue, almost gray. Cold. He looked at me like I was wasting his time. I waited. He said nothing. “Good communication skills for a captain,” I said, unable to keep the sarcasm out.

he replied. Amelia nodded obediently, taking Ford's words to heart. Seeing how obedient she appeared, Ford couldn't help but feel a sense of protectiveness towards her. He warned her softly, "During this period, my master might be a bit sensitive, so do your best not to provoke him. If he becomes upset or violent, just run to the door and leave immediately." Amelia remained unfazed by the butler's warning; after all, she had encountered countless ferocious sea animals during her underwater adventures.
