He snapped a wrist shot into the top corner of the net so hard the black puck rattled violently inside the twine. Ethan slammed his stick against the plexiglass in celebration, cheering. Damon coasted backward, turning toward the stands to wipe sweat from his brow with his glove. His dark eyes scanned the perimeter until they locked onto me standing by the tunnel. Even from fifty feet away across a crowded ice rink, I saw his entire demeanor shift. The ruthless, cutthroat captain melted away. A tiny, quiet smile touched his lips—a private, subtle look meant entirely for me. My betraying heart gave a sudden, painful flutter. I couldn't help it. I smiled back.

“You had it made for me? It’s…small?” “To your specifications, yes,” the captain says with a proud sigh. “It’s one-of-a-kind and top of the line, Cadet, so. Don’t drop it off the blind or anything. Cost a pretty penny. Want to see how she shoots?” Desperately pleased I look up at the Captain and laugh a little, nodding eagerly.

You can catch the bad guys, but don't let yourself get badly hurt. The captain stood up first and said, "Let's go, we'll meet them. You guys just follow behind me, I'll do the talking." Had just walked a few steps when the skinny man's guys spotted me: "Stop! What are you doing?" The captain smiled and said, "What else could we do here? Of course, we're here to sneak across." But his subordinate didn't care: "Who introduced him?"

I ate it just to spite him. We were sitting on a bench, me trying not to shiver, him scrolling through comments on the post like it was the morning paper. “‘They look so happy’,” he read aloud, smirking. “‘Captain finally bagged a baddie.’ ‘He’s way out of her eague.’ That one actually was not my favorite. I rolled my eyes. “You’re enjoying this too much.” “It’s kinda fun.” He bumps my shoulder. “Admit it. You’re having fun too.”

However, Freed and his group swiftly moved to intercept him. The Stormwatch captain was clad in armor, but he lacked the imposing presence of a warrior. Instead, he gave off a somewhat sleazy vibe. The middle-aged captain knew he had no way to escape, so he asked in a slightly obsequious manner, "What brings you here, sir?" Freed quickly formulated his words and then said coldly, "We have orders from our superiors. We don't want to harm our own people, so as long as you clear the way, no one will get hurt."

The people standing at the front of the crowd looked at each other and then sneered. "Fuck you!" The captain was so angry that he wanted to kill them on the spot to vent his anger. However, he suppressed his anger after recalling his superior's order and asked coldly, "Bastard, your leader has run away. Are you sure you want to continue fighting?!" "The leader?" The man sneered. "He's our alliance head, but do you know who's the real leader?"

I had totally misjudged the preworkout given to me ; Captain , my bestfriend , had bought me a serving today as we are training together.
