Clenching her eyes shut for a moment she again took a deep breath. Opening them again she gathered all the courage to move forward and started walking with her wobbly legs. By the time she came out of the main office after completing the remaining paperwork and getting her schedule and locker details, the medicine had already started it’s work and she was feeling a bit better than earlier. And she's one of the shareholders in the Arthur group.” He slid a Vogue magazine toward me but I refused to see the picture. Who cares who she was? I was just overwhelmed by her surname Davidson. Jen said. Cara lifted her head from her lap, clapping her hands with a wide smile. My eyes moved to her hair, and I noticed the twin braids I had been struggling with earlier were now neatly done, looking even more beautiful than I imagined. “I didn’t know you could make braids, Jen,” I said as I walked in. Cara rushed toward me, wrapping her little arms around my legs. “Yes, ma’am,” Jen replied. “I used to work in a salon before I started working with the Lewis family.”

Cara stumbled up to her feet in shock, grabbing her head as she paced the room. “No…This can’t be happening… He can’t be dead. This is not happening!” She shouted in frustration. She ran to the door and began banging violently on it while screaming. “You fuckers! You can’t be doing this! You made me miserable for years, you don’t get to do this to me again!” Cara screamed at the top of her lungs as she took all of her frustrations out on the door.
