I knew it didn’t pay much, but that would do the bills. I burrowed Keene’s car to drive to the town for my lunch. I remembered she was working today. Kate POV Getting into the cars, Reid, one of our warriors, Louise, and I in the first car and the remaining warriors in the second car. We head out quickly not wanting to linger on the premises any longer. We had a long drive ahead of us and we had a mystery to solve on top of that.

As soon as I was done, I took the sheets from Alia´s hold and wrapped it around her body carefully, making sure that she was fully covered except for her shoulders before pulling her into my arms. "What are you doing here?" She asked Carrie again, only then did my eyes shift back to the other female. But her attention was somewhere. Carrie was all smiles, looking at Gamma Aaron who was also looking back at her, curiosity flashing in his eyes. Alia followed Carrie´s line of sight before a smile crept into her lips. Carter straight up looked like a hot typical villain in any action movie. “Of course, Emily and I would be there.” Carter says in a not so friendly voice with a small smile on his face as he whacks Hank’s hand away from me. My eyes widen as I look at Hank, who was equally surprised. He hurriedly leaves my apartment after which I start gasping out my breath as I have a mini panic attack. “Oh my god. This is horrible.
