Chapter One: A New Beginning Aqua’s heart raced as she walked through the imposing iron gates of Crestwood High. Another town, another school, another chance to start over—if only it were that simple. At 5'10", her presence commanded attention, but she preferred to stay unnoticed. Her dark skin glowed under the morning sun, and her eyes, a striking shade of amber, held secrets untold. She pulled her hood tighter, hoping to shield herself from the prying eyes she could already feel on her.

She was absolutely beautiful, much more beautiful than I considered myself to be. The evil little troll in me wished she was disgusting and 600 pounds overweight. I couldn't help but notice all the pack members glancing at us from time to time. They all wanted to make sure the non-pack member behaved herself with Eddy's mate. Their loyalty was to her now. This princess was the one that they cared about. After all, she’d be the one who outlived me. She was probably a werewolf already, and if she wasn’t she’d be one soon.

If Twilight understood that waiting could also be a form of love, perhaps she wouldn't have chosen the extremes. Larissa's expression shifted. She shouted, "Mister!" … Meanwhile, Ambrose had just left his office. The stock market incident had come to an end, and Twilight had no chance to turn the tides. Ambrose quickly scanned the text message that he had just received from Max. Max notified him of Twilight's death and was cleaning up the remaining clones. The situation would be under their control shortly. Ambrose looked into the distance and said plainly, "Not all the clones are dead. This isn't over."

She adjusted her stance, chanting louder now, her voice reverberating through the room. Carmen gasped, her hands clutching the armrests of her chair. A sudden, vivid image flashed in her mind-a shadowy figure cloaked in darkness, his voice a low, haunting whisper. "You belong to me now," the figure said, their words echoing like a thunderclap. Carmen's breath hitched. The figure's form shifted, and she saw herself standing before a woman glowing with otherworldly beauty with robes like stardust and silvery wings.

Elowen’s POV – Twilight Whispers That evening, as the last vestiges of daylight faded into the soft embrace of twilight, the academy’s grounds transformed into a quiet sanctuary. I found myself wandering along a secluded stone path leading to a hidden courtyard, a place that had once been filled with echoes of our past conflicts and now promised a fragile new beginning. The gentle hum of evening stirred in the air—a murmur of crickets, the soft rustle of leaves—and all around, the academy seemed to exhale, releasing the weight of the day.

Afterward, they soon got to parts of the mansion where Claire wasn't familiar, and she couldn't help but marvel as she saw that the other oars were just as beautiful. They later got to an alleyway, and Ryan stopped them. When my father brought me here, he said that it was best to turn off the lights to get the feel of the place better. Ryan turned off the lights, and they were left in complete darkness. Claire couldn't believe that they would continue the journey in that darkness when Ryan put on a lighter and gave Claire a thick candlelight to carry. They would now have to use an ancient candlelight, which awed Claire as she didn't know any of those existed.

"MIRRA!!" Carrie screams as she races into the kitchen and tackles me at the knees. I laugh as I pick her up and bounce her little. Sometimes when I've been over here on the weekends, Carrie and her two older twin brothers, Tyler and Taylor, have been here, too. Carrie is barely three with long curly black hair, blue eyes, dark skin and chubby little cheeks. Tyler and Taylor are almost five. Both boys have the dark skin but Tyler has dirty-blond hair and hazel eyes while Taylor has dark brown hair and green eyes.

She squealed before starting her speech: "We are here tonight, in the name of the great Mother, to unite this alpha and this omega as one, before her." Shadow now whistled and continued the ceremony: "Repeat with me: I, Karim Ramesses, promise to love, protect and respect Sera Abrams until the Mother separates us." After, Karim repeat, it was the turn of Sera: "I, Sera Abrams, promise to love, protect and respect Karim Ramesses until the Mother separates us." "You can kiss the bride." Twilight finally, she ploked, receiving a sarcastic comment from Shadow that he had gotten the easy part.

When I opened the wooden door and entered the room, there were three more people in the room whom I called an emergency. “Why did you text us this late at the night? I was in bed with my wife, boss man. You need to understand I have a personal life too. I am married.” Matero said. He was a little irritated and annoyed by my message, but I didn’t give him any attention that he wanted. “What happened?” Caleb yawned from his seat.

She instantly made eye contact with carroty orange orbs. Their unswervingly bright colour harked back to her remembrance of Edward Cullen, a fictional character from the Twilight Saga novels. They had a mystic shine to them too. Like you'd be put under a trance in just an instant. "No, it's my fault. I'm often the one being clumsy," said the girl Scarlett bumped into. "Hey. I've never seen you here before, are you new?" "Um...yeah," Scarlett shrugged, before taking a good look at the teen.
